Welcome to the club, I did not do a race this weekend, but ran 10 miles for the first time, and looking forward to 11 miles this Sat. Such a feeling of accomplishment:)

Who looks forward to running 11 miles???:)

Keep up the good work!!!! I understand the feeling. Crossing the finish at my first 10 miler I knew I was going to go on to a half marathon. Cant' wait to do more after that.

Running and especially races provide a good camaraderie. I'm looking forward to mine - my HM will be hot and hard as I haven't been able to train as hard as I have wanted to but I'm already looking to when I will do my next race after that.

It's easy to get hooked. Safe travels.

I'm training for my first hm in oct. Part of the training is warmup races that the y is hosting. I just finished my first ever race a 10k sat. It was hot, it was hard... but that finish line felt incredible!!!! How satsifing is crossing that line. I want more races. Also it gives me a more definite vision of October's finish lines as I train.
