Hope you enjoyed our Capitol! I didn't do the race but I was downtown a little later and saw lots of people from the race.
Congrats on such a great race!

Great job! I think I would die without my Garmin. LOL! Amazing how we can become so dependent on something.
Way to go on the new PR!!

Great job, and great time! I have started long runs like that (forgetting just about everything but my clothes and shoes!) and was surprised that I really could do it gadget free!

Congrats on the PR. Glad to know that you can go unplugged and still do well. I'd be afraid of that.
I watched it on TV. I am doing my first big race (43,000) in 2 weeks and wanted to see how coral starts work. I'm running the RnR Va Bch at the end of summer. It will be my first HM.
WooHoo! It was a bad start for my day ... walked out of the house without wireless earphones. Without Garmin 210. Without iPhone. Then I took the wrong exit ... I did NOT want to park at the venue (turned out to be not a problem) I wanted to take the Metro two exits down.
But all in all, ran totally unplugged and I set a new PR. I beat RnR AZ by 20 seconds for a 2:10:52.
A beautiful day for a run around the Capital city. Barry, Michelle, Sasha, and Malia did not come out to say Hi, but I guess they are virtual prisoners in that big white house.
I had fun.
