Well I did great yesterday and I woke up feeling fresh. As I sit here enjoying my cup of coffee and enjoying spark time. I love reading posts and blogs to get me motivated. I been a member since Oct 2009 and I tell everyone about spark people. This is a great site and I made so many good friends over time. It feels great to have a site where there people just like me. I am going to see what I am making for lunch and dinner on this nice Sunday. Hope everyone enjoy their Sunday too...Will check back later with you all..Sandy

Here are my goals for July as I wanted to plan ahead this way I can stick to them. I really want to get this weight off I'll know it will come off in time..

Weekly goals are s follow.......

Track food and portion sizes emoticon

Stay Hydrated 64oz. of water daily emoticon

Exercise for 30 mins daily emoticon emoticon

Keep being smoke free emoticon

Sorry I been MIA, I been so busy with the kids being home and hubby pulling out his back that I am dealing with a lot of stuff. Plus we have 5 dogs and 5 cats and 5 birds and 1 breaded dragon. I feel like a zoo at times. I keep telling the kids and hubby no more pets. Well two of them went with the grandparents for the weekend last weekend and they happen to go to a pet store and got them a new kitty about 16 weeks old they said to me she looks younger. The paper work said she had her shots and is fixed and she was only 60 dollars. So now we have 5 cats lol. I am like if you want to buy the kids something please no more pets it getting to much to handle. With a family of eight and all these pets wow we have a house full. She is a sweet kitty and very cute. I couldn't say no once I saw it. I know mom and dad sure to love the kids cause they love spoiling them. As for me staying on plan well I ended up gaining but I am working to get it back off. With eating out and skipping meals it happens you know. We still trying to figure out where we want to go with the kids that doesn't cost an arm an a leg you know. The kids wants to go to Disneyland and Sea World and Six flags and Knot Berry but all these places cost a lot of money. They don't go back to school till Aug 14th so we still have time to figure something out. In the mean time the in laws been taking two kids at a time on weekends which is nice you know. I still haven't gone back to smoking it been so long I lost track after hitting the one month mark lol. Hubby says he very proud of me he wishes he could quit the habit. Well better get going as I have a bunch of stuff to do.. Have a good weekend.

Today was a very warm day as we reach 90's today. But I did manage to walk the kids to school this morning and hubby pick them up in the afternoon cause it was just too hot to walk he said. After the kids did their homework we let them played out side for a bit. They ride their bike and had fun for a couple of hours. I sat and watch them and enjoy the weather too. It felt good to just relax you know. After dinner we took the kids and dogs for a walk it was a bit cooler by then. So I was able to get my steps in. I can't believe this week is almost over. Well I am going to finish posting then go watch some tv with hubby then off to bed as I am beat and tired. Have to be up at 6:45 am tomorrow. Good night

Well yesterday was a good day as well. We went to hubby doctors and he got some bad news as his blood sugar was way too high and they but him on two different insulin one called Lantus SoloSTAR pen and Humalog kwikpen. Now he has to test after each meal and take the humalog. I am really worry about him cause his diabetes isn't getting any better. His AC1 was also very high. He has to go back in 2 weeks. Other then that we enjoy our day together as we went out for lunch just the two of us. It was nice and quiet. Then we went food shopping to get him some stuff that he could eat. I can eat everything on his menu but he can't as he has a lot of food allergies and he lactose intolerance too. Plus he a very picky eater which doesn't help much.
I did okay with walking as I did 11045 in steps and over 4.7 miles not bad you know. We went to our daughter school to drop off the cupcakes and punch. We stayed till it was time to pick up the kids from school. After we got home we just relax and help the kids with homework and made dinner and had our daughter birthday party and which the inlaws came over and we had real nice time.I think she enjoy herself. We gave her a bike and other stuff.

Well tomorrow my daughter Jennifer turn 11 yrs old. We are taking cupcakes to her class in the afternoon. I canít believe she 11 already boy how time flies you know. When I tell people I have 7 kids they laugh cause I donít look my age. Especially one who is 21 even. We had the in laws over for dinner this evening and I made a garlic chuck roast for dinner by was it good even the kids loved it and went back for seconds. I will share it with all of you. I will try and get it posted sometime this week. Well I am going to go relax and watch some tv before going to bed. Hope everyone had a good Sunday..

Figure I pop in and say hi to all, Well I did a load of clothes already and waiting to put them in the dryer. I have another two more load after that to do. Other then that I am relaxing and the in laws came over for a visit and for dinner so just enjoying their company. But I wanted to take a break and pop in for a bit. It nice outside as we reach 75 today and it feels great. The kids all are riding their bikes and having fun. I am making a roast for dinner tonight I got the recipe from spark people. My eating is going okay so far today. I haven't been snacking too much with is good. I only had a yogurt so far for a snack. Breakfast was french toast with banana and strawberries with sugar free syrup i only had two slices of bread. Better get back out side as I don't want to be rude you know. Hope everyone Sunday is going good. Sandy.

Hi well finish with spring cleaning my house. I have two big bags of girls clothes and 1 box of boys clothes that I am giving away. I spent about 5 to 6 hours on and off just cleaning today. My steps counter said I did 10.5 miles and 15690 in steps over 2568 in calories. I am beat and tired but I wanted to stop by before going to bed cause I promise to check in every day. Now all I have is the garage to clean out. I never figure we collected so much stuff over the years you know. I hate clutter. Hubby made me lunch and dinner and even made me a nice warm bath to relax in. Let me just say it felt good. Hope everyone had a nice Saturday. Well I am off for the night. Sandy

Hi Well it's 12:40 am and I am finally getting a chance to log on. I been so busy today running around. When I did get home I decided to spring clean a little. I went through all my sons clothes and fill a box of clothes that was too small and then I did ours and my little girls as well and filled a big bag worth. I also clean and uncluttered our room too. I spent about 3 hours just cleaning. I got a total of 12796 in steps and over 5 miles in. I did real good with eating and I stayed within my calories range too. I weight in this morning at 229.8 I take it you know. Well hope everyone did good. Can't believe it's Saturday already so I will enjoy spending time with the kids over the weekend. Wishing everyone a great Saturday. I'm gonna watch some tv before heading to bed. Night all.

Morning everyone, Well just finish doing the 7-Minute Belly Blast Workout with Dumbbells workout and I also did a 1 mile walk too this morning. I am off to a great start. Hubby went to the IEP meeting so I could relax at home. It great having to parents at home you know. Well got some house cleaning to do so I be back later.

Got a question is anyone having problems loading the start page? Cause I am only getting half a page when I open the start page and I figure out why..

Well just finish tracking my foods for today and did okay. I stayed within my calorie range. I walk a total of 3.5 miles to day and burned over 2040 in calories. Then we went food shopping and I got a bunch of healthy foods just for me like bag of salad mixes and tomatoes and cucumbers and low sugar oatmeal and yogurts and apples and strawberries and bananas and bags of frozen veggies and diet coke and 2 -24 packs of bottle water and fish fillets and chicken with peppers. Hubby and the kids pick out what they wanted as well everything came to 486. this will last about two weeks worth then we go shopping again. So my day went okay. Tomorrow we have an IEP meeting so we be gone in the morning. I will stop by later in the evening. Hope everyone had a nice Wednesday. Night everyone gonna go relax and spend time with hubby..

April 1st 2014!!! How is everyone hope everyone is still pushing for their goals!!! I've been busy with family, work, school... gonna try and stay committed with Sparks. Making this month of MARCH "MAHVALOUS"!!! Yes I am. So far so good still on track with my workouts and eating good. Got this new challenge comming up in OCTOBER on the 6th called TOUGH MUDDER in Las Vegas. My Siblings and I are gonna attend the event.



Training for a Tough Mudder? YES I AM!
.
Tough Mudder will punish you, no matter your shape, size, or current level of fitness. As such, we encourage all Mudders to increase their physical training in anticipation of the event. That said, the event is as much about mental toughness, grit, and camaraderie (and having a great time) as anything exclusively physical. In terms of what you are looking at: each Tough Mudder course will have 10-12 miles of hills, mud, water, ropes, walls, electric shocks, and fire. Check out the course map for the specific event(s) in which youíre enlisted to learn more.

How fit do you need to be? Basically, you should be in good physical condition Ė complete slackers need not apply. At a minimum we recommend that you are running regularly (2+ times a week, working up to 5 miles per run), able to do 15-25 push-ups in a row, able to bang out 6 pull-ups in a row (especially the dudes), and able to swim 50 yards without stopping (although you can skip the water obstacles).

It certainly helps to be a strong runner, and like we said you should be running regularly as part of your TM training, but a large share of our participants have never run 10 miles straight before. Itís not necessary to be a marathoner or half-marathoner (bor-ing) as your lungs will get a break when you do each obstacle. We mix up the drudgery with belly-crawling, wall-climbing, mud-slogging, ice-water dunking, monkey-bar traversing, huge slip ní slides, etc.

As we like to say, Tough Mudder is about completing a fearsome challenge and discovering a new sense of accomplishment, not about running your knees into the ground or testing your maximum lung capacity. So while some Mudders are ultra-marathoners and others are super-jacked Rambo clones, most are regular people who take care of themselves and are looking for a true all around challenge, a super fun day with friends, and a goal on the calendar that will force them to step up their workouts.

Morning Ladies, Well I do have put on some steps already. All the kids are in school and it's just me and my little one home.Hubby had an appointment this morning. I step on my scale and it show three pounds gone. Yea I went from 197 to 194 I am happy. When mom was in the hospital I gained. So it feels good to lose those pounds. I need to check on the little one and see what she into.So talk to you all later...
I need to be more active here on spark as I don't log on much. I just been so busy with life. I am making a goal to log on more often..

Well I wanted to stop by and bring some cheer to the room. It's been very quite here. I hope everyone is doing great on their journey.
As for me, Things been good and I been working out like crazy. I sign up for the spark people 28 day boot camp challenge. Right now I am on week three. I am so excited that I kept at it and didn't give up. Their was days where I didn't want to workout but I did anyway cause I had to.

Well we put up the decorations out side and we finished decorating our x-mas tree. This year we got a live one so we have to water it often.Got all the x-mas shopping done too.Now I just need to wrap everything so the kids don't see their gifts.I been making x-mas cookies and other bake goods.But I keep snacking the way I been doing I am going to start gaining again.But if I do it will be okay cause I know that I can lose it.I haven't been working out much except for walking and doing stuff in the house.I need to get back into the grove of things again.

Hi Boy has I been busy this week and weekend. I been running around shopping for x-mas gifts and decorations for thew house. I pretty much done with all my family just need one or two gifts for hubby.We put up lights and stuff out side.Boy does it looks nice.I must take pictures and share them with you's. I got my live tree this morning as they deliver it right too my door.I put the lights on and garland and some decorations already I will finish the tree tomorrow.As for this new points plus well it hard trying to eat 29 points worth.I am lucky to get my old points in. I been just trying to follow the old one for now until I get the books and stuff so that I can do it right. I am sure all the running around I am doing is a good workout you know.When I go this tuesday to WW I will find out more about the points plus. Well I hope everyone else is doing good.Well let me go as I am beat and tired.Oh I for got to tell you guys something I fit into a size 18 jeans.Hubby took me to kmarts and told me to pick out an outfit that was my reward for getting down to 180's.It been a long time since I wear a size 18. Let me just say it feels good you know.Okay time for me to get some sleep.I will try and stop by tomorrow.

I wanted to stop by and send some cheer to all my friends. Well it December tomorrow so let go out with a bang.By eating right and being active and drinking 8-10 glasses of water and tracking everything.We can do it..Let go team!!!!!
As for me,I am doing good I lost over 93lbs and it shows.I just been working hard.I finally made it to the 180's.I made my December challenge and goals.So I am all set to go out with a bang and start the new year with a new one.Who with me??????

Just finished celebrating my Father's 60th bday and next month Dec 21st we are going to Samoa for our family's 1st Reunion on my Dad's side!! WOOHOO! So excited. I have lost 125 pounds I am officially an 8-10. What should I do to target my thighs on each and every work out. From under my knee to my angle my leg is very nice but from my knee to my hip it is disgusting.

HEY DIVAS!! Sorry I've been gone for a HOT MINUTE but been a bit bizzay these past few months. So much has been goin on with work, family and just EVERYTHING! So much to be grateful for. Still gettin' my workouts DONE and movin' towards FABULICIOUS STATUS ~ Oh YEAH!! Its the month of OCTOBER can you believe it. This year is just flying by. I am so happy the cold weather is here. I love the COLD! Pulling out the sweats, sweaters, mink blankets. . . can't wait to hit the slopes, go snow boarding, hot cocoa at the cabin!! So excited! I hope everyone is still pushn' forward in their GOALS! Luckily I have my DAD who has been keepin' me on TARGET with my goals. I workout every day with him. If I don't go to the gym he doesn't and its especially important for him because of his "heart"!! But yes I'm back and prayfully I will keep our FABULICIOUS STATUS updated.. Happy Labor Day Everyone...
How was your labor day? I hope you got the chance to spend it with your love ones.Did anyone have any BBQ? Well just wanted to stop by and say the BBQ went great.We had baby back ribs and mixed fruit and mixed veggie tray with ranch drip and low fat mac.salad.Believe it or not but I only had three small ribs.The kids love them too.We had my husband parents over so it went nice. If I don't get the chance to come on tomorrow it's because tomorrow is my birthday and hubby has plans. He taking me to Apple Bees for dinner.I can't believe I am turning 43 already boy how time fly by.Gotta go it time to but the kids in bed for school.Good night and god bless....

Hi Well I wanted to stop by and say I am back from my four day vacation. I enjoy myself and so did my family. We even did something new and that was rent water skis. Boy I was kind of afraid but it was fun. I mean I really enjoy being on the water skis. Riding those and letting the water hit you wow. I even lost a pound while I was there. We ate at buffets but I made sure to chose wisely.Over all it was a great trip.We went to Laughlin,Nevada.But now that I am back I want to get back to normal. That is to track everything and to exercise and start posting again.I made an Aug challenge and that is to do cardio for 60 mins and strength training for 30 mins six days a week and to drink 64 oz of water daily and to watch what I eat. So wish me luck.Sandy

We just finished celebrating 4th of JULY and what a great day it was! We had a fabulous time. Our group TASI LE LOTO put on a show for the entire Ft. Irwin military base! We enjoyed every minute of it! Although it was HOT and I mean HOT 104 degrees we had a blast! This month I am pushin to loose 10 pounds! Keeping my fingers crossed I know I can do it! YES I CAN! I've gained so much MOTIVATION from my family and friends. So many have told me how "I" have given them the MOTIVATION to start living a healthy life! WOW, that is so amazing! So, when I think about just takin' a break on a day I think about how much I've changed others lives and HIT THE GYM harder! WOOHOO! Yeaaahhhhh! Gett'em BOO! Its been a blessing each day and I am gonna keep pushn' to reach GOAL! Love it! emoticon emoticon

Its the 1st of JUNE! My favorite MONTH. Its my b-day month. I can't believe its here already.. I can still remember getting ready for my fam's family reunion last year! Which was the bomb! Well, here we are in another new month JUNE! We are in the middle of the year. Its been HOT here in Cali for the last few days. Yes the summer is here! I enjoyed my Memorial weekend with the family. We had a bbq at my brother's house and went swimming in his beautiful pool. I ate some yummy food. I didn't overdo myself. I didn't hit the gym because I made sure to get my workout DONE in the pool, which I did. The kids kept me movin' in the pool! Lots of fun. Well, I am lookin' forward to a fabulous month. Hi Everyone, I took some me time last week wanted to regroup and I did just that. I am back and ready to kick butt with this weight lost. I even started a new workout routine as well.This is the third week of April and I want to make it count. So I have started doing kickboxing and punching /kicking a boxing bag. I do it for 65 minutes three times a week.Plus I do strength training as well.I do abs,dumbbells,push ups,plank,I even do yoga on the days I don't do kickboxing.I am trying to mix things up a bit so I don't get bored.I been saying within my calories range and drinking 4-5 16oz bottles of water daily.I am so proud of myself...

I have been MIA for a few months but I'm back with a vengeance. I recently got engaged to my knight in shining armor. I have been up and down riding the same 10 pounds since October. Now I really need to get my act together. I'm about to start a new phase in not just my life but my fiance's (love saying that). How could I possibly start "our" life with him with this weight still hanging on me. We made a pact to lose weight and take the best care of ourselves so we do not cheat each other out of any of the time have. I'm about to GET EM BOO!

Well today I woke up and got the kids ready for school. I only had my youngest home now and she 1. So it was nice out and I wanted to plant and rake and pulled up all the weeds.See I brought some plants and roses and palm tree and woods chips and soil for the outside.So I got dress and went out and started working in the garden.Then about 10am my little one woke up and I ran back inside to get her and change her clothes and diaper and made her something to eat.then we went back outside I let her play in her sandbox while I was working. Would you believe I spent from 8:30 to 2:40 outside working in my garden. It felt good being out you know I am so glad that spring is here.Well I am going to take some pictures of my garden and I will post them to my page.I am still not done yet just have a little section to do yet.Boy am I sore ladies but I be back outside tomorrow to finish.I was going to workout today in my workout room but got too busy with the outside.Now I am getting ready to cook dinner so I better go will talk more tomorrow

Hi Well this week I been working out for 30 minutes every day so far.I am not up to where I was before I got sick.But I am trying to get back to where I was that is 120 minutes or more.I am hoping to get there next week.I been eating right and drinking my water.I haven't been tracking my foods or calories these past two weeks. I know that I haven't been close to my calories at all.Cause I am eating just not too much.I haven't been hungry too much so I don't eat.My husband is worried that my sugar is going to be mass up. I been eating lots of veggies and fruits.But what I notice is when I eat after a few bites I get full so I just stop.Well glad to see that you doing good Taumaia.You look really good in your new picture.Keep it up...Gotta go getting tired time for bed.See you all tomorrow.....

Hi Today was my first day up out of that bed.I was a little weak at first so I just took it easy.My husband give me orders not to over do it until I am 100% better so no workouts for the rest of this week.I still have a sore throat so eating stuff is hard for me.The time spent sick I wasn't eating much.Today I notice that all my jeans and short are way too big.Evens all my new ones that are a size 20.I lost five pounds by being sick.So now I at 205.I tried to eat some pasta and veggies for dinner I give my self 1/2 cup of pasta tbsp of veggies.I was only able to eat half of that.My husband who use to be a EMT said my stomach stink when I was sick.For me right now I just got to focus on trying to eat more where I'm lucky to get a meal in.With me not being able to swallow it's hard.But I just wanted to stop by and say hi

Well as for me I sure wish I had better days
Sorry I haven't been on in three days. I been sick with the flu. I have it so bad that I been in bed the whole time.For three days all I did was sleep.My husband has been Mr.mom.I am very lucky to have him.I haven't been able to keep foods in me.I been drinking lots of hot teas and water.I am starting to feel a little better still not up to walking around yet.So I am not 100%.I am still weak.Think god for laptops you know.Well I am getting tired so I hope to be feeling better soon don't know when..

Yea I am feeling Fabulicious I have been working very hard the past week and this week as well.I wasn't watching how I was working out and pull a muscle between my neck and shoulder area again. I was in so much pain these past two days and I even workout while I was in pain. Found out that was a big mistake.Cause last night I had to go to the ER and They said I re insured the area and got told to take it easy until it heals and to stay away from floor exercises. So I have to find an easy way to workout that wont put any strain on that area for a week.So if you have any ideas please let me know thanks....

Good morning DIVAS! Its Saturday and a beautiful saturday morning it is!! Update thus far on this Marvalous March is that I am still makin' it happen in my workouts. We are in 13 days of this month and so focused to loose this last 50lbs. I plan to do a REVLON 5k in Los Angelos on May 8th right before mother's day to support breast cancer. I am gonna start running more on the track to get prepared. I'm excited this will be my first. emoticon emoticon emoticon

Well today was a good cause I got up early and gave it my best. I sent my kids to school and I workout hard.I did the following Day 4 Boot-camp Workout7-Minute Core Workout plus bicycle crunches 5 sets of 15 reps.plus regular crunches 3 sets of 10,stand crunches with a twist 2 sets of 10,3 sets of planks,2 sets 10 of lunges with bicep curl,2 sets 10 of dead lift bicep curl overhead press,2 sets 10 of squats bicep curl shoulder press,wall push ups 20 reps,knee push ups 30 reps, 50 jumping jacks,10 minutes of jump rope,treadmill for 30 minutes burn 220 cal,Brazil butt lift cardio axe 30mins,Brazil butt lift high and tight 35mins,So I got a good workout in today.I wanted to make up for 2 days of not working out Yea I spent 180 minutes today.I also ate in my calories range and drunk lots of water about 10 glasses.I am back on track and I feel good and I am focus and ready to kick this weight.I am happy that I haven't gain any the past week of not working out but only two days last week.

The gym that I go to has a Zumba class every tuesday and thursday. I tried it the first day but wasn't interested. The instructor was sloppy and unorganized. So yeah I lost interest in that. I've seen the informercial on the Brazil Butt Lift but never done it. I hope your interests helps you in this journey. Keep up the fabulous work! emoticon

HEY DIVAS & HOTTIES! Good morning all its Saturday and one more day of FEBRUARY! WOOHOO! Who has been kickn' butt this month and makin' it count! I HAVE! Yes, ma'am! Great job to everyone who is making progress and pushing for FABULOUS RESULTS! This week has been a good one. I've been sticking to my workouts and watchful of what I've been eating! Today is my weight-in so I'm anxious. emoticon I am about to get off of work in an hour and then its off the the gym to burn more calories. I'm making today count for my GOALS * Yes I AM! Today I am having lunch with my son at his school and then off to the gym with my Dad to burn off those calories. Great job Sandy.. Your makin' your day count!! emoticon Well, this past weekend I let myself enjoy it. We were in Vegas and enjoyed ourselves. Although I could have splurged like an oink I didn't. My family kept me on my toes but I did enjoy some icecream and goodies. Soooooo on Monday I really kicked butt in the gym to work off those calories. Its Tuesday today and I am makin' it count! Well so far so good today I did 22 minutes on my treadmill, 30 wall push ups, 30 jumping jacks, 60 crunches plus I did 40 minutes on the Contour Belt.I feel good.

Hey DIVAS! I'm back from my Las Vegas weekend and we had a blast. Nothing like spending time with the entire family. LOVE IT. We enjoy spending time with each other and making memories. This Valentine's weekend my entire family along with my husbands family all went to the Rugby Sevens held in Vegas. Samoa won the tornament which really made this event fabulous. My hubby bought me roses and a diamond heart necklace for Valentines and my sister and I were still able to get our workout DONE out there in the mornings thanks to the gym in the resort. A fabulous weekend it was.. WOOHOO! Its Monday and back to work. Its a holiday today and we are going to the park with the church had spending the day outdoors. Love It! Hi just wanted to stop by and say hello to all
I had a very good day today. I spent it with my husband and kids we watch movies and played games.
I watch what I ate and drunk my water and had my veggie and fruits.I wrote a blog yesterday and now I am trying to put together my workout routine. Cause I have all this exercise stuff and I am trying to figure out a way to use it all.Treadmill,Elliptical,AB circle pro,weights,bands,a brunch of DVD s.So I am up for any ideas you may have.
