I have been taking chasteberry/vitex for about four months now, and recently started raspberry leaf. I'm taking chasteberry throughout my cycle and raspberry leaf in the follicular phase only.
It's hard for me to be sure what has caused this, as I have also lost weight and am taking other herbs and supplements, but in the last few months my cycle has shortened and I have ovulated for the first time in a long time. I now have a 41 day cycle, when previously it was 2 months or more between periods, or no period at all for months on end.
I'm only taking herbs and supplements, and I'm on a low carb diet, but no fertility drugs, so I tend to think the chasteberry could have been one of the main factors. Anyway it does seem to help a lot of women. Maybe it would help you too.

I'm kind of new here, but I have been doing a ton of research as to natural ways to "help" the baby making along.
My husband and I have been trying for about 2 years now with no luck. I was informed recently that I have PCOS. (I don't agree with this as I have no other symptoms other than I am overweight and not pregnant, but I am doing everything the doctor suggests anyway.)
In my research I have discovered two plant supplements that are said to really assist in producing a healthy baby. The first is Chaste Berry. Supposed to assist with those who suffer from irregular ovulation/menstruation. The other, Raspberry leaf, is said to help create a hefty "baby bed" by helping thicken the lining of the uterus for an excellent place for a fertilized egg to nestle.
I scoured the internet for all the information, but you can find the summary on this website and go from there. http://www.babyhopes.com/articles/herbs.ht ml
One thing that most of the sites warned is against Chaste Berry being used along side any fertility drugs. And as always consult your doctor before beginning anything, even natural supplements.
Has anyone ever tried this? I have read tons of blogs of woman who swear by this method, but want to hear it straight from someone who's seen it in action.
(I also discovered Maca Root for my husband. It can be used for women as well however I am not taking it. I couldn't find anything on it's affect on the female reproductive system.)
