REDGLITTER,
What veggies exactly do you use? Like carrots or cucumbers? I always want to do that but I never know which veggies to munch on.

I ate half a bag (thats like 9 1/4cup servings) of dried fruit and nuts today. I just couldn't stop! I try not to surround my self with foods that I just can't avoid but it's hard when you live with a family whose metabolism seems to be going off the charts. All they eat is the "healthy" high calorie foods and snacks.

We have all been there Danatta oh man have I. I'll tell you a trick for those terrible days that you probably already know. Keep fresh slice veggies in plastic bags and munch on them all day long. Keep them at your side and just eat and eat and eat, it will actually help the cravings because of the crunch.

We all have bad days - coming here and venting always works for me - going for a walk. But most important cut yourself some slack and think . . before sparkpeople - it would have been worse. You would have continued your binge to dinner. But your already thinking how to salvage the day. AND you DID exercise today. You have a lot on you mind - when the day is over you can think to yourself the things you can and will do differently next time.
Two steps forward one step back is still progress.

Well, yesterday was my birthday, so you can pretend you were celebrating with me. I had a "bad" day too (eating-wise that is!), but sometimes you just have to eat badly before you realize how much better it is to be healthy. Just start fresh now! :-)

MINI GOALS!
Jan. 30: 140 pounds
Feb. 13: 138 pounds
Feb. 27: 136 pounds
Mar. 13: 135 pounds

I will try to total up my cals Melanie. Thank you I am really not to hungry so I think I will have a veggie soup. I think I am getting sick also my throat is starting to hurt..so I am going to take it easy tonight and tomorrow

I am having PMS so I was bad with my eating last night too. 3 bowls of cereal!!! I still tracked my calories in my little notebook and know how many over I was towards my daily goal. I just started all over again today. I would try to tally your calories that you ate and then just start from scratch all over again when you have dinner. Eat a sensible, healthy dinner to get yourself back on track.

OMG Ladies I dont know what has come over me. It started last night with the cravings I eat everything I wanted plus some. I was even full and still looking for stuff to eat! Well let me say I do know what came over me, I have a "friend" whom I let borrow my digital cam and had to chase her down to get it back and my husband was fussing about me getting it back and that was hard hearing him upsaet cause he is currently serving in Iraq and I feel we should have other things to talk about! Then today I have just felt really hungry I ate alot this morning and then went to a buffet for lunch I have know clue as to how many cals I have shoved in my mouth but I did get my butt up and workout this morning. Its only 130pm here and I stll have dinner to go! AAAAUUUGGGHHHH Well thanks for listening I needed to get all this off my chest I am sure my family is tired of me talking about the cam issue all week. So Wish me luck on my dinner cal intake hope I have more control the rest of the week. emoticon
