Congrats on your loss so far! I understand the knee pain. Before SP and exercising, I had terrible knee pains. I couldn't walk up a flight of stairs or go a whole day without my knees hurting. I thought, I am too young to be feeling like this! Today, my legs are alot stronger and I don't have anymore knee pains.
Keep up your motivation and Look forward to seeing you in the threads!
Welcome to Women on a Mission. I am so glad your joined us. We are in the middle of our March Madness challenge and the enthusiasm of the WOAM is contagious. These ladies are already looking forward to April's challenge. I love the excitement and I can tell from your message that you are excited as well. Congratulations on the current weight loss. We will get through the remainder of this mission together.
Again, welcome aboard.

I agree about the name of this team. It is great and it is exactly how I feel. Seems like you feel the same too.
I am really happy you lost the 10 pounds. I have a lot of weight to lose too but have gotten some early success and that is so motivating. I do have problems with portion control but I am trying to focus on that. Isn't it amazing how good "good food" really is? I love that my lunches don't come out of a greasey fast food restaurants anymore!
Congratulations on your lifestyle change. Pats on the back to you. kel
Hello, all -- I joined my Y a month ago and have been on a serious mission since then. I'd been having pretty intense knee pain in one knee and finally went to the doctor. He diagnosed it as plain old garden variety arthritis and told me to exercise. He was right. I feel better when I'm moving. I was ecstatic yesterday to step on the scale at the Y and realize I've lost 10 lbs. over the past month. I have many more to lose, though, about 70+. I really feel, though, that the past month has changed my attitudes toward food and exercise, I hope for good. I've lost my interest in food with little or no nutritional value and, while I count calories, I pay more attention to the quality of what I eat. I now realize I've got to make every calorie count. Anyway, I take this journey seriously and am excited to be part of the team. Thanks for being there.
