Hi PoeticJustus! I'm sorry to hear of the troubles you're having! I've struggled with it myself and I found that I just smoetimes can be powerless over it and that the only way I was able to manage it was to not have it anywhere in my house. I retrained myself to make good decisions to going out to eat so that wasn't my biggest struggle. It was home relaxing on the couch and hearing the pantry call! I have been active with sparkpeople for 2 weeks and everything seems to be panning out the way they said it would. I have lost 4 pounds and I am just siked!! The only thing I think I am having a problem with is working out on the days I have off from work.. It's a little harder to get motivated.. although I do go on bike rides.
I think my main struggle today is not health related: it's being tired but having to do plenty of work and then some errands. Also, I have to try not to give in to high glycemic index foods, which is what may happen when I'm tired.
