I have had an extremely stressful 2 weeks with a friends and a family death, therefore, I have not been exercising for two weeks as I have been mentally drained. Come this weekend I should be more motivated and my mind in a good place so I can tackle my goals with more enthusiasm. :)

I feel your pain and have been down that road. Concentrate on your upper body strength for the time being and also if you have something like a thigh master you may be able to do without putting stress on your tore muscle. Good luck!

not doing so well at the moment, tore a muscle in my leg last tuesday. tonight is my first night back at work ... luckily there is not a lot of walking involved.

need to find a way of exercising that does not involve the use of my legs or one them at least, any ideas would be great!!

hi herlihy,

actually i think you're doing okay, just remember that the closer you get to your goal weight the harder it is because you are coming closer to the correct weight for your size.

as for myself at the moment it's not so bad i reckon - because i have a long way to go it's not as hard yet to lose (thank goodness)
i have no idea what i am going to do when i do get to within 25 - 30 pounds off my goal weight. at the moment that's still pretty hard to imagine but i'm going to give it my all this time - i'm getting too old to be continuously going around in circles where my weight is concerned!!

I am trying to do good. I have been exercising and eating right (with a couple slip ups) but in 4 months only have lost 9lbs and 10 inches. Shouldn't it be more by now??

march 24th, had 2nd assessment, 2 out of 1 is not bad, i am fitter but i gained back 6kg.

march 28th, got weighed again as well as getting measured, i am no longer a square shape and lost 1kg as well. i'm happy with that!!

well here i am, only another 9 or 10 days until my 2nd gym assessment.

have missed 5 whole weeks at the gym due to sickness and other issues.

hoping for the best - don't think i have gained any weight and am fitter that i was, so i think i will be okay ...

yesterday, march 1 was my first day back at the gym again, haven't been for a couple of weeks - i realized as i was finishing up that i have never walked out of the gym feeling bad - that's definitely something i will try to remember!!

i was doing well before christmas, made it through new years okay and then i got the flu. couldn't make it to the gym for 3 weeks. i am now struggling a bit to get back on track again - has been hard to get to the gym lately due to family issues that need to be dealt with but i'm hoping to be back this week. has been very hard to keep motivated but sp and my weightloss goal are never far from my mind.

I have really been doing well these past few weeks. I have done an excellent job of tracking my food and exercise. I have a 8month old and some days I just feel like I can't get into an exercise routine so that is my goal for March. I am getting better. I have gotten at least 30 minutes of exercise at least 4 days per week for the past week and a half.

With God all things are possible!

I am up and down. The last week was great and I am finally in the 160s again and eating so much better but something always happend when I get here. I started running more than once a week and this weekend did 3.5 miles but got really bad blisters again so I can't workout for a little while. I know it's not that bad but I know if I go into the 170s again I'll be discouraged. Other than that I'm living a healthier life than last year.

Doing ok, but need to do some tweaking.
Found out my iron is really low so that explains a lot of things. Thankfully, I am encouraged and have a plan to get more iron, thus more energy to do what I need to do.
Making lots of changes towards eating non processed foods.
Need to make time to exercise again.

I am doing pretty good. The past few weeks were tough, actually had to go to the hospital on Valentine's but doing much better now. Just taking it one day at a time. Overall though I cant complain I am living and still trying to be healthy. :-)

I am doing pretty good actually. Have been getting the water in daily, exercise is good and nutritionally...doing better. I have a bad cold, so feel bummy and not as motivated...but, I will get there.
