Linda I'm glad your doing better.

I am still staying within my calorie limits. I weight in at WW tonight and weighed 140.8 . Last month I weighed 142.6 Guess I'm hanging in there. Going to our lake and working all weekend is good exercise for me.

2012 Goals
_________

01) STOP SMOKING!!! (Has been 12 days since my last cigarette....WOO-HOO!!!)
02) 8 Glasses of Water per day
03) Eat Healthy
04) P90X-"Classic" (Gonna start the New Year off with a BANG of Exercise...)
05) Meditate 15 Minutes per day / good for STRESS

These are only a few of my 2012 Goals I wanted to share with the Team.
Have a few more on a more personal level that I jotted down in my on personal journal here at home. So God Bless me along my journey and help me to have "FAITH, COURAGE, HOPE, JOY, LOVE & HAPPINESS" that I can stick to this and get through this New Year with New Beginnings to a New Start.

Great Goals Rod. That is what I want to do for 2012 too. Here is my back-up exercise just-in-case I don't get any other exercise done in a day.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndVjwkaLGDk

I have already stated eating more fruits and veggies and I'm doing pretty good with that.

Utilizing your garden to grow more veggies is a REALLY smart goal. Good for you. Eating less processed foods has also been on my mind. Thanks for the reminder. I'll be working on that one too.

Shaune your doing a Great job with your fitness. You are so dedicated. Keep up the good work.

Wishing you all a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR. Let's make it a year to remember.

For 2012 as a whole, I would love to hit my goal weight, but it will be really close. I am really looking for losing some inches and getting into smaller clothes, but I haven't decided on realistic goals yet.

10 minutes of excercise per day and at least 30 minutes 3 X per week
7+ hrs sleep per night
8 C of water per day
5 fruits or veggies per day
track everything at least 6 days a week
try at least 1 new recipe per month

I have more goals that aren't SMART, but are important to me and I just have to find out a way to measure them and hold myself accountable.
Utilize my garden to grow more veggies.
minimize processed foods.
be more active and supportive on Spark

Challenge completed for this week. I made a new soup. It was a version of Stuffed Green Peppers, only made as a soup. I really like it and it was from Skinny Taste.

I have decided my first challenge will be before Christmas. I will challenge myself to Modify 1 recipe for Christmas this year.

I'm still working on some New Years Challenges. How are you doing with ideas?

Let's all work on making a good Challenge for the New Year for the Team. We can all help motivate and support each other. We can do it.

I hope Sandy will be back soon too.

Still deciding on my goals for the New Year...even though every day is a New Beginning, it's more of a Challenge I think for me to come up with something that will keep me motivated and detemined to reach what I've set out to do. So, if going about it in a different way will help, I'm all for it. So I'll be back in touch later with what I've come up with.

I've been thinking about my goals for next year. I am going to try a new food at least once a week. I'm going to start reading food labels more often, watching for sodium and fat content. Tracking those things especially. I'll let you know when I get my list completed.

Great Ideas and thanks for the links.
