The class I take uses light weights on several of the songs (not the sticks) and sometimes I struggle with even the little weights, but can see it making a difference If I stick with it. definetly need toning in my arms so will start using them more during zumba,thanks.
I have been teaching Zumba since June 2010, and only started teaching Zumba Toning in the summer of 2011... but MAN-OH-MAN am I falling in LOVE with it!
Ladies, it does take a bit of getting used to, to perfect the moves and feel coordinated enough to incorporate the weighted sticks into the routine... but once you've got it, WOW, is it ever effective! I have never gotten this many compliments about my arms and overall shape even when I was lifting as a Body Builder!!!
