I totally agree PSCHEP, getting out and going to a class is the best for me too. It's a chance for my kids to go play at the YMCA and then I get some time to get my Zumba on. When I try doing DVDs or anything on my Wii my kids are always under my feet. Of course I don't blame them... it looks like fun!

To me, Zumba doesn't even feel like exercise. It's fun. I don't have dvd's but do have the Wii Zumba program. I have done that, and it's better than my other Wii exercise programs, but going to a real class is the best. I've found that everyone in my class is supportive and encouraging. We are all different ages, shapes, sizes and abilities. No one cares how I Zumba, just as long as I'm there and doing it! If you can find a class, go for it, and let us know what you think!

You can do it! emoticon

I've lost 33 pounds with WW and Doing Zumba. And I became an instructor, because going to class IS different than collecting videos. I have the 10 minute Tony Horton videos, the set of Pilates and many others. They just collect dust. Get out and go to a class. Go to every teacher in your area to find the best one for you (they are all different). Some are more fitness oriented, some are more dancey, some too much hip hop, etc. You get my drift??If you hate excersise, you will love Zumba especially if you enjoy dancing even a bit. Yes, it will be more expensive that a case of videos, but you will push yourself more and get more out of it. Many teachers/places have class cards that give a discount. Let me know how it goes.

WW gave me the tools and Zumba gave me the motivation and confidence to keep going. I'm happy with who I am now.

I have not bought the dvd's yet but am really considering the new dvd set. I need to lose about 50 pounds and really hate excercise. I know I need to do it to lose the weight and to be healthy. I am a little worried that I'll buy it and not do it like my many collections of Firm dvd's. I did see results when I did do the Firm but hated the idea of feeling like excercise. Has anyone done the new dvd's? If so please give me your opinion on them. I have watched the youtube videos and zumba really looks like a lot of fun.
