CJRAMSEIER--do you do the noexcusesworkout? Or did you just get your HRM there?

Dicks Sporting Goods has the polar for 70.00 w/ chest strap. I love mine. Had it for 3 years now I believe. During Zumba I burn from 530-680 calories. (depending on class and instructor)

HRM is so worth it !! Lets you know where your heart rate should be for the best workout !

If you don't love yourself....how can you expect others to.

I got my HRM though noexcusesworkouts.com. I even bought his whole system and really believes in the HRM, but he says you don't have to use his anyone will work, but he says it is better to have one with a chest strap. I do find they work better and give you more accurate reading. You just have to decide what works for you and your budget.I thinks he maybe making a few changes to his HRM that will be coming out next year. Good luck!!

I got the New Balance HRT Fit

It was pretty easy to program and I've been very happy with the ease of use when I am counting my calories.

I do wish though that I had bought the Plus that has a pedometer.

I use a heart rate monitor when I zumba. Depending on how much intensty I put into zumba, the length and who the instructor is I burn anywhere from 600 to over a 1000 calories. Normally though in an hour it runs 600 to 800. With zumba you do burn the calories.

When you all exercise (Zumba or otherwise) do you use a heart rate monitor that tracks calories burned? I bought one from New Balance and it just seems like I am burning a lot of calories and I wanted to make sure that it was accurate.
