I just started Zumba myself. One reason I started Zumba was because I hit plateau. I thought maybe it was time to switch up my cardio exercises. I now take classes instead of working on the treadmill and other machines. I am hoping in time that I will start losing weight again. I think you should just give it time to kick in. Good Luck!

As for my workouts, FORGET THE "No pain, No gain." this does not work for me. "I will do it until I'm sore, and then I will soar!"

If all else fails, just keep moving! It's the cardio that burns the calories. in time you'll start making up your own moves! Can't wait for your video to come out! emoticon Enjoy!

You will love the DVD's. I have found that I plateau alot, I'm on one right now. I'm a very picky eater, so I typically don't follow "Meal Plans". I've been tracking everything on SP and found it very helpful. I have also started eating "healthier". One bit of advice I can give you, is to mix up the work-outs. I love the Cardio one, and would do it all the time, if I had that kind of time, everyday. My husband and I workout at least 5 days a week, if we can. Not very often to we go below, so weeks if just isn't possible. The moves may feel odd to begin with, just stick with, it will begin to feel comfortable in time. Remember, Zumba...it's what's moves you!!!

I just got my DVDs last night and I was reading through the book and was interested in the 10 day weight loss, but it only gave meals for 5 days with no other options.

Has anyone tried this? Is there another book I could get to give me other options??

I have done WW and now I'm watching my calories, but I'm not lossing weight all that much so I'm guessing that it is my food intake that is giving me problems. So I thought this might help.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I did try the 20 min video this morning and it seems a little odd, but I'm sure the more I do it the easier it will get.

Remember to take everything one day at a time and we will win the war in the end!!!
