My weigh in is rather sad at 97kgs ; when only 2 weeks ago I made 95'1 kgs . Boo Hoo !!

Jenye you are so right that being in this team is definitely a great help on our weight loss journey . My scales were really nice to me this morning 95.1 kgs !! . The only reason I can see for this drop in kgs is not eating at night . Whatever the reason I am super thrilled about it . I won't mention exercise as there has been none to mention

emoticon 57 kilo's on the scales today! Not so good! What happened to me maintaining at 55 kilo's LOL Oh well I know what happened. I was not able to do any exercise due to arthritis pain in hips. I also did not eat less to compensate for no exercise I will do this week though. (Eat less that is)

I do exercise if you like I do normal everyday walking and I wear a FIT BIT FLEX and I have it set on sparkpeople as a goal to achieve at least 3000 steps per day otherwise I class myself as way to sedentary.

For me though, it seems exercise apart from normal walking that you have to do in a day seems like exercise is a thing of the past for me. Unless I do it in pain or take pain killers which I refuse to do because I believe exercising while taking pain relief is only making the problem worse. You are masking the problem with pain killers. If in pain it is your body's natural way of telling you to rest to relive the problem.

So off to eat less this week! emoticon

I've tried these exercises from Pete Egoscue and they are meant to be good for arthritis of the hips. I have four of his books so thought I would try some of his exercises myself to help with my hip arthritis.

Not even weighing myself this week as I know it will be on the upper again emoticon Exercises have been some new Egoscue ones I found on Youtube for arthritis of hip & feet etc., Just starting to get problems at night with hips so looking to exercises to help .- worth a try ! Exercises don't seem to help with feet; but then maybe they would be worse with no exercises .

As you say Jenye a loss is a loss. At least you can be grateful you did not gain any weight! It can't be perfect every week. It is also perfectly normal to gain and lose from time to time. congrats on the 100 gram loss at least you lost. BUT........... emoticon emoticon emoticon

Yes Paula, bread sure does pack on the kilos & what we put on that bread also will add more kilos . And with this chilly weather nice hot toast was just too much temptation . Back down to 96.8 kgs this morning so results says it all .
And the other thing is that you my dear friend Jenye is rapidly catching up with me in this weight loss challenge . Just a fun thing ; but enough to get me back on track

Yes bread can really put the kilo's on. But when it all gets too hard think about why you started. .

It is a well known fact that you hear all the time if you wait 20 mins after eating something you'll feel full and no longer feel like eating whatever it was you wanted to eat. Perhaps try in this colder weather soups.

Skip the bread till 20 mins after eating the soup or whatever it is you are eating and if you still feel hungry then after 20 mins of finishing eating and doing something else I guess you are allowed 1 slice of bread.

Maybe would that work for you???

There's a good book out been out for a few years i think called WHEAT BELLY By: William Davis you may find that an interesting read. You could buy it or just borrow it from your local library. Wheat is a big one to pile on the weight and you'd be surprised how many different things have wheat in them. Gluten is fine as far as weight goes. Gluten is only a problem if you are Celiac. There is a difference let me tell you between being gluten free or wheat free. It's an awesome book and it may help you.

Just a thought anyhow good luck it's not easy I know but........... emoticon emoticon emoticon

I did 16 mins of these few exericises (or should I say e-cises) today. They are from a man called Pete Egoscue I have all his books on the Egoscue Method you may find these particular e-cises good if you suffer from hip arthritis like me. if you don't have hip arthritis he has other e-cises for different aliments you could try.

I hopped on the scales this morning and found that K had lost 1.4 kgs. No exercise but think I will read up on Qigong as this seems to be just what I need. emoticon

emoticon Monday weigh in 95.3 kgs & last Monday was 96.7 kgs ; so that is down 1.4 kgs !! This alternate day fasting sure has kick started my skinny genes & I am loving it all .

emoticon This is my weigh in for the first week of " The easy Alternate Day Fasting " & weight now is 95.5 kgs . Amazing !! Can't understand why it is called "fast" as on those days I eat a maximum of 600 calories .

emoticon - at weigh in this morning I stayed the same.

I started exercising again 15 minutes on the exercise bike and 12 minute video of seated abdo and core exercises by Nicole. I can feel the pain already in my legs and tummy.
