OK, we haven't had a whole lot of luck getting people to FINISH THE CHALLENGES lately, but just to show you what a glutton for punishment I am, I'm starting another one.
Go down to the Challenge and Motivational Forum section of THIS FORUM (nothing new to join) and post to Leaner By Lammas if you want to get in on it. Then email me (NOT SparkMail, email) at firstname.lastname@example.org and I'll send you the spreadsheet which will make it Sooooo Easy to track your points. The Challenge starts May 2nd and ends August 1st.
You get 1 point for each 10 reps of weight work, 1 point for each 10 minutes of cardio work, 1 point for making supportive comments to other Team Members (not just Challenge members), and TEN (10) points for each pound you lose. (Losses only count from your lowest point -- you can't lose weight, gain it back, and get points for losing it again.) AND on any day where your weight loss, strength work, cardio work, and support messages add up to 15 or more points, you can count the Login Bonus Spin points that you got when you logged into SparkPeople and spun the Big Wheel.
If you get serious about this, you could easily break 1000 points in the Challenge. If you good off, you could still get 300 or so points.
If there are 5 or more finishers, you'll get an award for First, Second and Third Place; fewer finishers mean fewer awards. But if anyone besides me finishes, you WILL get a reward.
