I had to work on the equinox... but the day after I went to visit my hometown and my old house. It has just been finished with renovations after the flood of september 2011. I spent the day clearing out all my herb and flower beds of debris and whatnot. Looks like only a few things survived and I'll have a lot of replanting to do come May when the local stores get their plants in. Started some Sweat Pea, Basil, Calendula, Sunflower, Lunaria, Echinacea, and Flax seeds. Also put the 106 year old grapevine back in order as the waters tried to rip it clear out of the ground.
Got a nice tan too doing this... :) All in all a good celebration.
"...and heroically stripping her down until she's bare,
like the roses whirling in freedom.
But even if the two of us should be separated,
I will change the world.
