Moss, There is a core group of 7-10 regulars who are present weekly. Over my tenure with the group, attendance has swelled to 25+, and dwindled to 2 or 3, at various times. Right now we seem pretty steady in the 7-12 range. Border Pagans has been a fixture in the Atlanta Pagan community for over a decade, with groups meeting at Borders all over the Atlanta Metro area over time. I think that we are the only remaining group still actively meeting on a weekly basis. The others have slowly dwindled and died. I've been involved in the group since 2004...but had a bit of a crisis of faith from 2007 - 2010, and only returned to the group on a regular basis in January of this year. Others have been involved in one or more local Border Pagan groups since their inception. I adore having a diverse group with whom to share ideas and information, as an external support system, and for the friendships I've developed. I wish every Pagan had the opportunity for such a wonderful community spirit as I have!
My local Pagan discussion group recently lost our home as Borders Books and Music liquidated. Fortunately, we have found a new meeting place at the newly opened Whole Foods Market. First meeting there will be tonight...so excited!!
