There is a core group of 7-10 regulars who are present weekly. Over my tenure with the group, attendance has swelled to 25+, and dwindled to 2 or 3, at various times. Right now we seem pretty steady in the 7-12 range. Border Pagans has been a fixture in the Atlanta Pagan community for over a decade, with groups meeting at Borders all over the Atlanta Metro area over time. I think that we are the only remaining group still actively meeting on a weekly basis. The others have slowly dwindled and died. I've been involved in the group since 2004...but had a bit of a crisis of faith from 2007 - 2010, and only returned to the group on a regular basis in January of this year. Others have been involved in one or more local Border Pagan groups since their inception.
I adore having a diverse group with whom to share ideas and information, as an external support system, and for the friendships I've developed. I wish every Pagan had the opportunity for such a wonderful community spirit as I have!

So glad to hear you found a new place to meet! How many are in your group? How long have you been meeting?

My local Pagan discussion group recently lost our home as Borders Books and Music liquidated. Fortunately, we have found a new meeting place at the newly opened Whole Foods Market. First meeting there will be tonight...so excited!!
