Glenda and Moss both have excellent ideas. Cleansing and meditate to refocus where you want to be, ask for guidance as well. Sometimes there is a new path for us to follow but it's not always clear at first. Brightest blessings, Lisa p.s. I love candles too, can you tell ;)
I think Pagans tend to keep the candle companies in business. But light a candle. Meditate. Ask the favor the the appropriate version of Deity. Craft a spell for the ESSENCE of what you need. (I recommend Marian Weinstein's system, the book is cheap and ethical.)
I overcame my spiritual obesity, now for the physical!
I treat this as a ritual. My favorite thing to do is take a very long shower, wash my hair, shave and completely cleanse my body. While doing this I visualize "letting go" and washing all the "crud" down the drain. I breathe in the steam and think about it traveling through my body, infusing me with renewal and strength. I say a prayer asking for renewal and a better outlook/ direction or whatever feels right. When I get out & dry off I then take bath oil, lotion or essential oils and anoint myself again praying or meditating on going forward to a better place. If you have any "new" clothes now is the time to break them out (if not freshly washed favorites with happy associations can work) so every time you feel them or see these garments it reinforces that forward path. Be sure to ask respectfully, and give thanks. So mote it be!
Good Luck The goodwitch, glenda

Today i am asking for strength and patience. It has been a long week filled with many disappointment both personally and professionally. I have struggled to stay on track with my food issues and last night did not do so well. So today I am starting over and trying to find peace. What do you do when it all feels so overwhelming? How do you get back to that spiritual place?
