Waxing are to bring things to you and waning are to take them away from you so to include that into a healthy life style I would think your focus during waxing should be eating healthy and hitting strength training exercise a little harder because you're bringing health and muscles to your body. During waning you are releasing toxins and excess weight so a light detox with more cardio and perhaps a massage or two would help with releasing the toxins and extra weight.
When you are in your muscle building phase you might stay the same weight or gain weight but when you go into a detox phase you'll be flushing excess fluids out and allowing the muscles to burn more energy which in turn would burn more fat and will bring your weight down.
Obviously you should always be drinking a lot of water. If you are adjusting your lifestyle to the moon phases then another step could be adjusting your diet to the seasons. There are foods that are naturally in season during certain times of the year and not at others but we have access to them all the time because the foods travel great distances to get to us. Do some research as to what foods are normally in season in your region of the world and try to eat mostly those.
There's a fabulous book called staying healthy with the seasons (I forget the author at this moment)that I would recommend. That author also wrote a boke called the detox diet, another great book with many different types of detoxes you can do.
