How wonderful that you can recall the dream in such vivid detail. Without going into detailed analysis in this semi-public venue, it seems to me as though your sleeping mind is trying to process the various grief-related feelings and thoughts that you are experiencing that you are suppressing during your waking moments because they are very difficult to process and interfere with "normal" functioning.
Lots of rich material here. We could discuss this further via "private" message if you like.
Night before last i dreamt of being underwater and seeing a town submerged. I saw a road running upward on the side of a hill with a broken metal arch. I saw trees; white birch, oak, and pine. All of them still hav foliage on them and i saw a water tower that's how i knew it was a town. The water was murky greyish brown. Last night i dreamt of meeting a man on a dirt road in a very ancient but broken city. He laughed and joked with me for what seemed to be forever. He suddenly looked up and said that the moon was absolutely full and too bright and it made him feel uneasy. He told me to follow him and he lead me off the road and into some thick trees, but i never questioned him because i was sure i knew him and could trust him. Then i woke up.
