I agree with the others. If I am in a munching mood, I will try veggies. If I am craving something sweet, I try a yogurt or some fruit. That will usually satisfy me. After eating those though, I try to get busy with something so I won't continue to think about food. Keeping my mind busy seems to really help me!

I think we all have days like that -- I know I do. As others do, I go ahead and eat something, but I pick higher nutrition over what I am thinking I want (a cookie). The other thing I do is try to get busy doing something else, whether it's a cleaning project or even if it's a game on the computer -- just something to divert my attention and I often then forget I wanted something to eat.

3 things that help me are: like deb163 said, eating protien or veggies, drinking water, or sucking on a hard candy (it keeps my mouth busy!).

when I feel like that, I allow myself to eat as much as I want - as long as it is veggies (no sauce or dips) or fat free popcorn. The other thing that works for me is lots of protein. If I eat protein at everymeal, that helps me alot. Good luck!

Some days I just feel hungry and know I am going to cave it and eat things I should not. I would love to hear what others do to turn back around in a positive, healthy way. I am limited in what exercise I can do right now so I am thinking more like; what takes the binge cravings away!I am tired of losing the same pounds over and over again, I want to move forward to my goal!
