That's really terrible. :( I hope it heals up okay and that you have good enough insurance. You can do arm pumps while you're sitting (like, pretend you're running and pumping your arms). It's not terrible exciting, but better than nothing. Good luck!
Oh no! I am so sorry to hear that. I broke my leg when I wrecked my dirt bike a few years ago and I know it can be really frustrating to be grounded by an accident. What you can do is track your nutrition, work your upper body and do alot of research and planning so that when you can get moving again, you'll be a step ahead. When you're bored, read old posts from your SP teams. There's a ton of great information in them. Wishing you a speedy recovery!!

I am so sorry to hear about your accident! There are lots of articles on exercising while seated. You can still keep up your upper body workouts until you can stand and move again. Hang in there hun, you will do great!

So, I signed up for Spark People about a month ago and although I haven't been tracking on here, I've been doing very well! Then, last Wednesday, while my mare and I were chasing a calf, she lost her footing and we went down. She landed, all 1,100 pounds of her, on my foot and leg, breaking my foot. Any ideas on ways to continue exercising while I'm down? I'm very frustrated! Any input you have would be much APPRECIATED!
