I really like them...in fact I need to make an Aldi's run to get some more, I've been out for a couple of weeks now.

The thing I've liked about them (and I'm not real big on ice cream sandwiches either) is that it is a self contained portion. One sandwich is all I will allow myself to have a day, but I'm not tempted to put more ice cream in a bowl like I am when I scoop ice cream for myself.

I like the vanilla best, but the chocolate is great too......I wish our store would have cappucino (sp?)...I'm sure I'd like that one too. :)

Are they any good? I'm not much of an ice cream sandwich person but I will eat one if it's good for you and tasty.

Ive also seen Mint, Cappucino, and Peanut Butter at our stores. Some are only special purchases every now and then. They all are great! My 11 yr old daughter likes them too!

The last time I was there I found a new (at least new to our store) flavor, it was orange and vanilla, it tastes like a dreamsicle, very GOOD! emoticon

Hi Kath and thanks for the heads up. Hopefully they stock those icecream sandwiches here in Ireland. Fingers crossed!

I had read a very positive review of the Fit & Active Ice cream sandwiches that Aldi carries and decided to give them a try. All I can say is "Yummy!"

They are 130 calories per sandwich, 1.5 g total fat and even have 2g Fiber and 4g Protein. They are about $3.00 for 6 of them, so not a bad price either.

They make a great summer ice cream treat without too much guilt. I wish I would have found them earlier this summer! ...kathemoticon

If it is to be, it is up to me!
