Sounds like you all have some great goals for 2013. My goals are related to finances and getting to be debt free. Good luck everyone!

My husband is AGR as well...AF. We currently live in Virginia, by way of Boise Idaho (Gowen Field)... my hubby works at Andrews (National Guard Bureau). We're in Virginia because of a Title 10 slot he applied for and got. I am sooooooo ready to go home!! emoticon

wow you did have a rough year! Hoping 2013 is MUCH better for you!

As my husband says (he's AF) Semper Gumby. Always flexible! Hubby's work is at times frustrating but it pays the bills and lets me stay home and homeschool the kids and indulge in my hobbies so I can't really complain too much.

Where are you stationed? We're in Fort Worth. It's a joint reserve base so there's hardly anything around since our base is full of reservists and retirees. We live out in the middle of nowhere in the country. I'm never moving again, Lord willing. He has an AGR slot so we don't have to PCS all the time which is nice.

Hello there!!!! Happy 2013 to you all as well!!

I have to say...looking forward to 2013. It HAS to be better than 2012! Jan. 1 to Dec. 31st was THE worst!! From hip and knee pain to start out 2012 (which left me a VERY crappy running mileage for the year, and months of excruciating pain), to my husband's BULLCRAP at work ALL YEAR LONG, to me losing the friendship of my very best friend due to HER husband's stupidity and lack of responsibility FOR his stupidity, to the Holiday season.....hmmm....my husband's heart attack (for which he is very much alive now...Thank you, Jesus!) the first week of December, then he got into a car accident (no injury on him, just my poor car was damaged) 3 days before Christmas!!
I need a new year....a kind new year!!!
emoticon Sorry about that y'all....felt good to get that off my chest though!!
Not only am I ready for a GREAT year, but, like y'all....CLEANING HOUSE!!! Getting rid of clutter, junk, things not been touched since moving here....it's gotta go!! Moving forward y'all!!

HAPPY 2013 all!! Have a fabulous day!!

I'm so glad my husband is AGR. We probably will never move and I'm fine with that. I've seen base housing around here and I would hate it if I had to live in it. It feels like a shoebox. (note that our base was closed in 1994 and reopened a few years later, but its a joint reserve base so there's not alot of base housing as most of it was razed and the land sold off in the 1990s) so all the houses are the same way they've been since the 1970s or so.

That said, I have thrown out 3 trashbags full of crap, and I'm working on more today ;) Got 2 boxes unpacked and gone through too. Progress!

Happy New Year!

My personal mission has been to get our "stuff" under control. We're due to PCS in the next 6-8 months and I refuse to move again with all of this junk that we don't use!

Stayed mostly on track food wise with the exception of Christmas Eve. I didn't track and I don't care to know how many calories I ate. It's the one time of year I eat prime rib, yorkshire pudding, and all of the usual fixings. No guilt with family tradition.

Currently on day 3 of my tracking and exercise streak for January! Feeling good.

I have been personally swamped with "stuff" all through December so I stepped back a bit from SP and gave myself the rest of the month to take care of some other stuff.

Now it's January 1, and I'm back and ready to get moving again. How was everyone else's holiday?

Mine was filled with church activities and attempting to clean out parts of my house. I have a monster living with me called paper and it has taken up residence everywhere. I'm determined to get rid of it though! This is my major goal, to get the clutter out of my house this year.

What are your goals for the year?
