I think we should add a rule for when no one guesses the correct day. Can't use a rule like "person who guesses closest" because that gives an unfair advantage to people who later deliberately choose one day after or before another person. How about this rule:
If no one guesses the correct date, the first person who guessed the date within 2 days of the date will win. The 2 days are at either end effectively giving a 5 day window.
So LOVE7755 (who chose June 18) wins if the temp hits 100F from June 16-20 unless someone else later picks the actual day within that period.

Guess the first day it will hit 100 degrees fahrenheit in Montgomery County and I will award you a 500-point spark goodie. Include what you would like as a goodie. If you don't select a goodie, I will choose one.
Rules: - Enter the guess as a reply to this post. - You may only have one guess. (You may make additional posts but only your first guess will count.) - Your guesses will be ignored if you edit or delete it to make a new guess. - If we reach the end of August without hitting 100, I will distribute the points to five randomly chosen entrants.
Anyone who posts the most astute observation about this contest before July 1 will also get a 500-point spark goodie.
