You are not alone! :)
Maybe try cycling a little lower? Don't limit to under 1300, but maybe lower your cycling 100 calories a day? maybe that would work?
I'm not trying to work out the kinks too hard just yet, we're leaving for a road trip from Michigan to Florida on the 28th. We'll be gone for 9 days and I know I'll try my best to be good, but it'll be tough. I'll really start hammering out cycling for me when we get back though!

THANK GOD I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE!! I have been stuck with the same 4 lbs that come and go week after week, mostly like every 3 days I'll weigh 2 lbs different! It is so frustrating, but at least I now know I'm not the only one. And yes, I do agree that I have a ton more energy with the higher ranges than I did when I was trying to limit myself to 1300 or less a day. However, I was also losing weight in the range and for the past 6 wks, I have been stuck in this yo yo. That's about the time I started to allow myself to eat at a slightly higher range, but hadn't started cycling yet. So I wonder if my body just won't drop the excess weight unless I keep it under 1300 again. ??? Any ideas??

Kate

I'm the same...into my 2nd week cycling and tossing one pound back and forth.
I'm working out 7 days a week...not really sure what the deal is. I know I'm feeling better and liking thism ore, so I'll stick with it, maybe it's just taking us a bit longer to get used to cycling and for our bodies to regulate? Or I'm way off on my calculation for my caloric cycle!

I am in the same boat....been cycling 2 weeks now, and lose, gain, lose, gain, the same 2 lbs. I'm counting the calories, going to the gym, but nothing seems to be working..... I have had a bad habit of getting up in the middle of the night and eating cereal, but I make sure in the morning to add that to my total calories.......any suggestions? VERY frustrated!

Thanks for the replies.
DLASAGNA~ you crack me up! Seriously.
I'm not giving up on cycling at all...I've fallen in love with it. I like the flexibility, the freedom and the big step away from that four letter word we all hate..."DIET"

I gained for about a week, but your results may vary, as my body seems to be crazed beyond all reason.

Not only that, but I don't go into it expecting to gain initially, then it could be a shock and send me running back to the "old way" of my weightloss, which means 1200-1300 cals a day. Lost 20 lbs that way, but have been stuck for over 5 weeks now in the same 4 lbs weight range!! Not to mention that I have much more energy (and am a generally more happy person to be around) if I can eat more. It was getting harder and harder for me to push myself to workout, whereas if i eat more, I look forward to it. I've only been 'cycling' about 3 weeks now, but like I've said, been stuck in the same 4lbs now for over a month, so no idea if i'm going up due to the cycling or just the yo yo I've been doing. Sorry I can't be more help! Have you tried maybe asking Jenn?

I know...I'm curious because I knew weight fluctutaes, but I want to make sure I catch it before it's swinging too high on me!

I've read that your weight will initially go up when you start cycling, then it'll start to drop. I know it's different for everyone, but is there a general time period you should see this happen?
