Hi, I'm new here but I want everyone to go to the library and check out the DVD "Food Inc." At the end? I think, it tells you ALL THE THINGS WE EAT EVERY DAY MADE FROM CORN!!! It's amazing! You are probably consuming corn without even knowing it!

I am allergic/sensitive to what I am really not sure. My allergist told me to log everything I ate, so I did that for months, but don't see any trend at all. I do suspect corn, sulfites and citric acid tho, but don't know for absolute certainty. It is sort of maddening.

I am also allergic to multiple foods including corn. Which by the way is in powdered sugar and baking powder. There is many books at Barnes and Noble that have recipes for this and other dietary problems. I have found a book that I love called you won't believe it's gluten free. It has different ways of making the same recipe. For those allergic to corn you can do potato starch and millet flour bread which is really good. It is one of my favorite breads. And I am somewhat picky on how my food tastes. Just to let you know that there are options out there. It's takes a little more time but in the end it's worth it.
ya know I hadn't thought I might be allergic to all corn products. How do I figure out which ones I'm allergic to? how do you eliminate foods & add foods to your diet to figure out which foods you are allergic to?
I found out I'm allergic to corn as well through an allergy test from my doctor, I had a reaction and went to see her. I haven't had much luck because she just tells me to stay away from it and read labels. I'm still confused and learning about this. I'll need all the help I can get.
