On Monday mornings (or Sunday evening if I get to it) I make a weekly meal plan. I outline what we're going to eat for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks for the whole week ahead. It's really not that hard and I can always make changes throughout the week. It's a good guideline for me. If I make a plan, I don't stare in the fridge when I'm starving and I'm not tempted to go out to eat. Also, I know what groceries I need to pick up and can minimize trips to the store.
As for the gym bag, I need work in this area!
What are you doing this weekend (or do every weekend) to prepare for a busy week ahead? Do you pack your gym bag ahead of time? Do you prepare meals?
I know all the things I SHOULD do but sometimes by Sunday afternoon, all motivation goes out the window...
