One thing I really miss is reading to my kids at bedtime and I know they miss it as well. I would read several chapters and sometimes make them read a chapter. but now i work evenings so we dont get to spend that time together. I have 2 kids that say they hate to read until they find a book they like but its getting them to look at it and give it a chance
Reading has saved my life!! Right now I am reading the Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley. This book is about King Arthur and his round table but it is written from the point of view of the women of the time. I am loving it.
The last two books I read I highly recommend:
1) The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry by Rachel Joyce 2) The 100 Year old man who climbed out the window and disappeared by Jonas Jonasson (very funny).

I love reading I do bring books to work and if I have time I read them . often I have time and Im a fast reader. I get most of my books from a discount place that is only open certain times of the year or thriftbook.com I will check out that website . Often I dont know about new books until someone tells me about them

Reading is my escape so I try to do it every single day, even if it's just for a few minutes and I am always reading a couple books at a time. Right now I'm reading "Dublin Street" by Samantha Young, "Broken" by Megan Hart, "The Spark" by Sparkpeople and "PS, I Love You" by Ceceilia Ahern. I just recently finished reading the first 4 books of the House of Night series by PC and Kristen Cast and will finish reading the other 6 just needed a break from fantasy/vampire crap.
Since I love reading so much and I'm so busy, I use the book challenge on goodreads.com to hold myself accountable for reading more often. There are times when I just veg out and I could be reading and then I complain I don't have any time to read. Last year I challenged myself to read 20 books and I read 19. This year I challenged myself to read 30! We'll see! Goodreads is an awesome website with all the latest books and gives you recommendations. Check it out!

I'm reading the 50 Shades Trilogy. I'm on the last one, 50 Shades Freed. I like the first two the best. Before that I read the Hunger Games Trilogy, but that was right after the first movie came out. I've made it a goal to read at least 30 minutes a day, and that's usually broken up into three 10 minute sessions!

what was the last book you read and how long ago was it. I love to read but rarely get the time to do it. A friend gave me 50 shades of gray and the next book i knew she had other people that wanted to read it so i got it done quickly . I miss reading wish i could fit it in
