Fortunately and unfortunately I am confined to the house so I do not have that problem except when folks want to bring a dish and when that happens I take a bite to be able to say I ate it to tell them how fabulous it was

Hi everyone , sorry about the delay in the coffee house topics .. it is hard to come up with these questions lol .. So I was reading the following article this morning and it made me think about the challenge we are doing right now for the holiday season. How do you deal with people that although are good nature and love you but pay no attention to your weight goals?
I am generally the one that host the gatherings since I am the only female left on my side of the family. I try to find a healthy way to prepare most dishes; however there is on a occasion when I have to go out to someone else's home. When this happens then i try to be as honest as possible without being offensive to them. I hate my mother in laws cooking so i have had a stomach virus for 15 years when i have to eat at her home. However, smaller portions at other places seems to serve as a good thing just hard to track .
