I'm not Catholic, but I'm giving up all alcohol for Lent. Those couple beers here and there are really showing up here and there..... Is anyone else giving something up for Lent?

Went to Viking skate yesterday and let my son talk me into skating...... I knew better, but couldn't pass up the fun. Now my knee is really tore to shreds. I really need to go to a doctor. I think I'll finally try to schedule an appointment this week.

Zumba, Cardio kickbox, spin, I teach a class called Drums Alive! It's a lot of fun, but not as intense as say, spin or kickboxing. I'm running three miles a week, and I'm starting to enjoy it a tiny bit. I need to start doing strength with weights, but I haven't made it a priority in my schedule yet.

Right now I do a boot camp work out, but there is a lot of jump training, which is hard on my knee. I need to clear space in my garage and pull out my punching bag. What cardio do you enjoy?

I hurt my knee last April, so I can't run anymore. My goal is to eat healthy foods and stay within 1600 cal/day and add 90 minutes of cardio to my workout schedule.

A made a goal to run three miles per week. I currently owe one mile, but I will make it up tomorrow. I'm using run keeper. It keeps me motivated to run. So far I have 20 miles tracked.
I also made a goal to get my body fat %checked, and thanks to the help of an awesome coworker I have my results in hand :) 27.29% "good." And I'm happy with that. Shows that one can be obese....but not really....if you go by unreliable height and weight (bmi) numbers, yet normal and healthy (amounts of body fat), when you look at body comp.
