The challenge is done! I feel great. I've lost 13lbs, and am sleeping soooooo much better. I've decided to maintain this Paleo diet. With exceptions. For example, I hadn't told my hubby that I had chosen to maintain this diet, and he made me a drink to celebrate successfully completing the challenge. He was so excited for me. So I drank half the drink. With that said cheers to healthy eating.

Awesome! I wasn't able to check in with you face to face since Monday was Labor Day. And I've been doing spin instead of zumba....maybe I'll do zumba tomorrow (there will be a sub though).....but spin gives me a good cardio run for my money. Have you been doing zumba?
I'm happy it's working well for you though.

Half way through this challenge and I'm feeling good. Not having to much trouble with the actual food. Sleeping better. (Yea) Having very strange cravings for beer. Go figure. (I don't drink) I've not weighted myself, but had to wear a belt with a pair of pants today AND the belt is now to big. So... sweet something is working.

I have to say that I do like the idea that this is a 30 day CHALLENGE......challenges are fun. I think I'd have to start smaller though. Like 3 day challenge and build from there.

I've always said that one of the reasons I lost weight was because after having kids I was busy chasing them, or stepping over baby gates, and they eat half of whatever I make for myself.
LOL
So what did you end up eating?

The only difficulty has been keeping my kids away from my meals. lol. Fridays are the last day before grocery shopping. I had saved some meat to make kabobs. So I make the kabobs and serve the kidos and leave to the room to do laundry. When I got back they were ALL gone. I asked the kids "What am I suppost to eat?" They said "You can have PB & J. HA. You kiddos don't know how funny you are. :)

I look forward to your results. Has it been too difficult to stay on track?

I've come to the realization that my nutrition is in jeopardy, and if I hope to ever shed this weight I need to fix it. Over the past year I've made steps toward "healthier eating", but now I've decided to do a cleanse if you will. It is called the Whole30 Challenge. whole9life.com/category/whole-30/
Bascially its meat and veggies. HA. But I'm excited to do it. So JOIN ME!!! Misery loves company. Just kidding. But I would love the accountablility.
