I listen to country, bluegrass and occasionally classic rock like The Who or Peter Townshend.

Taylor Swift has some good songs that get you movin, many others too. Good for listening while on the elliptical.

For most of my life, I was always surrounded by music. But since my cancer, I seem to prefer the silence.

I love country music. I like to be told a story. And I can always understand the words. But I will listen to any good music, from classical to hip hop.

I think I can. I know I can. I will.

I listen to a wide variety of music. I also do not like Country music except for a few cross overs. I like a bit of pop music along with the classics plus having teenage sons who are into music, I listen to alot of diff. genres. I have diff. playlists for my workouts. When i run, I tend to have fast music. When I walk, I will listen to jazz, classical and a bit of pop music.

I have a wide diversity of music that I listen to , do not enjoy country (although my husband and son do, so it's in my best interest to develop a tolerance, lol.) Actually some country I do like, depends on the artist and the song......I listen mostly to Christian Contemporary, which includes all sorts of venues, some lean towards rap, some hard rock, all depends upon the artist.

I absolutely do work out (whether it's elliptical or walking) to music, helps set the pace!

I absolutely love all kinds of music, except rap. DH is always playing
different music on TV. I love a lot of the older music that was such a
part of my life, when younger. I usually exercise with whatever, music
provided with the CD or I can exercise without music at all.

Country, mostly, but I do Zumba classes, so I'm getting exposure to some hip hop and salsa music, which is fun too.

I love all types of music except for Rap. Even some more appropriate wrap is okay. Oddly enough I do not think about the music so much when I am exercising. It is either provided on the video or I do without it. When I had a cardio glide machine, I did listen to the Allman Brothers greatest hits or sometimes a meditative cd by John Michael Talbot. I am definitely all over the board and it really depends on my mood and how busy I am. I do need music to live. When I don't have it I make it up myself.

What is your favorite type of music? Do you listen while you work-out? Any favorite songs that really get you going? emoticon emoticon emoticon
