English muffin pizzas (on a dutch oven lid) Hand made ice cream (ok, that was in a coffee can with the ice and salt mix to freeze) Banana Boats (in foil) Sloppy Joes Foil cooked vegetables Monkey Bread (DO)
Garbage Bag Nachos Slit a big garbage bag on two sides and lay it out over the picnic table Spread two big bags of tortilla chips over the bag to cover the entire table Heated up a #10 can of nacho cheese (SAMs Club) in a 12" DO Drizzled the cheese over the chips just in time for the night campfire (clean up is gathering the slit bag up and stuffing it into another garbage bag)

Chicken breasts in cans with a little garlic, mushrooms, green beans, whatever you can think of. My girls made fruit skewers, banana boats. I just Googled, and here's what popped up, a few SparkPeople Recipe Books, these were specifically for camping :)
We have cooked chicken pieces in tin cans before. Marinate your chicken breasts and stick them in bigger tin cans cover with foil and stick in the coals. I can't remember how long they took. You could do carrots or apples in tin foil packets on coals. Bananna boats-Bananas wrapped in foil with a little peanut butter, cheat a little and add a few chocolte chips. Peach boats - peach halves in foil packs. Add a little cinnamon sugar on top.

We are heading out camping next week with my family - grandparents sisters husbands and kids. I always seem to gain weight at this camp. Any suggestions? I've been giving this a thought and i think I have over estimated the amount of exercise and don't seem to have any portion control- but I still want to enjoy camp and much of that comes from good food!
