I know this does not address the issue of tomatoes, but I came across this portabello pizza recipe and thought I'd share it with everyone!

Take away the cheese (or use vegan cheese) for vegan mini pizzas. Add any other type of veggies you want and swap any sauces you want!!

Here are two of my recipes. One with hummus as a sauce, and one using pesto.

I've often made a white pizza with a vegan cheese sauce (use your favorite recipe.) If you want it lighter and not so yellow and sharp-tasting, keep most of the nutritional yeast out of the sauce.

I used to work for Domino's Pizza. Ya Ya, I don't work for fast food now. I do have a suggestion for you though. They used to use BBQ sauce with pineapple and meat items. So perhaps a BBQ sauce might be good.
