Welcome. I hope you are able to stick with the vegetarian (then vegan) lifestyle this time. I have found that SmartDogs are pretty tasty. I haven't BBQ'd them yet but you might want to try them on the grill. You should also try grilling veggies -- onion rings, pineapple, and portabello mushrooms are all good on the grill. Just make some type of marinade -- maybe something with balsamic vinegar, garlic, soy sauce, and some type of herb (oregano, basil,...) -- and then let the veggies soak it in for at least a half hour. Good luck!

Hello. I am new to the group and sort of new to the Vegetarian Lifestyle. I have been a vegetarian off and on for years. Because of a lack of nutrients (and willpower) I fell ill and always reverted back to meat eating. This time I am determined to stick with it because its just not good for us and not good for the animals. The weather is getting warmer and I want to try my hand at grilling. Does anyone have any suggestions of a good veggie dog or other items that would be good cooked on the grill? Thanks!

One Day, one meal, one bite at a Time!
