That's great DMgoddess1 Having just had guests at a very busy time on the top of my list is how to cut corners on vego/vegan food prep time and still have tasty filling meals.
I make a lot of very freshly prepared food which is really good health-wise but keeps me in the kitchen for quite a while at meal time especially when preparing for a large group. It would be good to have some more ideas on prepare-ahead dishes that store well and make a solid meal. Congrats on taking on the role!
Calling all vegetarians and vegans is a great site but as someone else noted, it is not strictly vegetarian, very inclusive. Quite nice to hear from people contemplating a vego lifestyle or grappling with the issues as well as those who have always been vego or have "crossed over".
Not having a leader isn't uncommon -- I think I was joined to about four groups that didn't have leaders (one of which is still very active without a leader). Calling All Vegetarians is another site -- but it's not a strict vegetarian site.
