No plans here either. Half the family came down with a flu/cold thing yesterday. I'm trying to convince myself taking down the decorations will feel like a great accomplishment. Still a bit out of norm from surgery, sure is hard to bounce back. I did a workout yesterday and today, yesterday's was better. I'm trying to get the strength to throw out last of Holiday cookies, but I'm thinking if I get near them them might go in the mouth instead of the trash. Enjoy the first weekend of the year! No big plans for the weekend here, either. Maybe putting away the Christmas decorations? (That's an off-day workout, right? Hee hee.)
Gym is closed this weekend for some renovations, so I have to do my workout at home. I had to do the same yesterday, as they were closed all day for new years. I'm just not as productive at home. I get distracted too easily. So I'm looking forward to next Tues, when I will be back at my gym and in my normal routine.
Been having too many sweets lately. There are some cookies and brownies left...I think I'll throw them out tomorrow and start my near-ban on refined sugars again. Those brownies may taste good, but if they can't tell me how they'll help me reach my goals, then I don't need 'em!
