My week was busy, work, soccer practice, a bunch of odds and ends :) I'm having a hard time dealing with all this rain very depressing. Today I need to get my daughter uniforms for school, hope I don't get caught in another thunder shower.
Have a great weekend
Sounds like you've been busy JoAnne!

the high humidity wreaks havoc on my back. I have been up since 4:30, just couldn't get comfortable. The up side is the laundry is done, the dishwasher emptied, and I had a nice healthy breakfast, all before 7 Am. This week was quiet, my oldest son is back at Duquesne and it is quiet without him. Son# 2 goes back to Temple next weekend, then the house will be like a tomb. Takes a little while to get used to the quiet again, but we will survive...OOOppps, almost forgot, exercised already also!!!

Hi Crystal, I know it sounds strange, but I had to list my bank on the contract of sale along with the terms of repayment. I guess when the realtors accept offers they have to be assured that the loan will close or they may miss out on other (in their mind) loans that they believe will close. I also used a bank that the realtor never hear of, but they were comfortable with them, because I was also a mortgage processor. Although I couldn't process my own loan, had to be done by our corporate office because of compliance, they knew I knew it that the loan will close. But, I don't recall the sellers realtor asking what my husband did for employment, that's odd. Good luck, I will say a prayer for you.
I hope you are doing better, sounds like quite fall. And then having to ride back! Really does sound painful.
Keep us posted how you are making out with the house.
Oh life here has also been crazy. But I think i lost some sort of weight.
We put a bid in a house, the seller and their realtor never heard of the bank we are using. So ask to know where Gary works. Like if that matters. I mean, the bank pre approved us. The seller will get their money, it's the bank who needs to worry if we will pay. urgh
So now it's a week later, we haven't heard back from the seller this whole time. our realtor has been trying to get ahold of their realtor, no luck. Finally as of yesterday, our realtor says, the seller's realtor may be able to get the seller OK with our bank.
So we'll see where this final bid gets us.
Last week I went for a 15mile bike ride. I took my camera with me. Well on the way back, I fell off my bike backwards, the bike landed on me. So my left side is still all black and blue, and I had a brush burn on my left hand. I had to ride my bike all the way back to the car in pain. My butt also hurts from sitting on the bike that long.
Since my inlaws have a inground pool, I've been trying to get in as much swimming as I can.
The downside to living with my inlaws is..my MIL keeps chocolate out. M&Ms, hershey kisses and those minitures candy bars. All 3 out in candy dishes all the time. When they empty, she buys more. In general it's what she buys for the house. As she and my FIL eat the candy too. So of course Gary and I have to eat it too. I dont have the willpower to go a day without some sort of chocolate. And I have gotten to the point to have a chocolate chaser after I eat. I need to stop or limit myself. I know its adding so many calories.
But somehow I think I lost a little bit of fat. At the beginging of the month, I bought a pair of shorts which I thought was my size. Came home, and they were a bit tight on me. As of today, I am wearing them. First time putting them on, since I bought them. They fit nice.

Wow Dinise, sounds like you had a busy week. For me, just work, soccer practice for my daughter, rain - urgg! volunteered at the shelter today, took my Mom and she adopted an older cat :)trying to deal with the heat. Now I'm going to get my lunch and snacks ready for work tomorrow, the weekend's go fast, don't they.
Enjoy the rest of you day :)
My week was a big mix of emotions.
My grandson left on Tuesday. I miss him so much already.
After he was gone I was determined to start getting things done and have been working in the garden for hours at a time, Cleaning, washing laundry ectt...
I did not take care of the garden while he was here (2 months) it was terrible. I have canned and pulled and rotatilled. I am hoping to get enough area cleared to put in a fall garden because I did so bad on the spring one. I read you can plant peas, green beans and broccoli in Aug. and still be able to harvest them before winter we will see.
I have gone Huckle berry picking, I even got my son to take me once (he won't do it again this yr) but it was really nice because we talked while picking.
I got to take my granddaughter to my neices going away picnic pool party (she loves to swim) I wore my swim suit (I hate to wear swimsuit)We had a lot of fun anyway and the food was delicious She (neice) is leaving for college, wich reminds me my own son will be leaving, he said Aug 31st.
We always get to take our grandduaghter to church but her mom was having her friends daughter for a sleep over and told her not this week and she cried and cried because we were not coming to pick her up it nearly broke my heart and also made me feel good that she wanted to go with us.
Well that was my crazy week.
