My cholesterol was 278, I took fish oil twice a day (made sure was mercury free) and started eating clean 5 - 6 small meals a day along with exercise, w/o meds, it's now 178. For me the key was diet and exercise. All my meats were lean
Visit the Dr today for the result from my blood test. I have high bad chorlesterol and low good chorlesterol.
The only good news is...my good chorlesterol is better then my husband's. lol
So I need help. I have no idea how I can lower the bad and up the good. What kind of foods can I eat? The dr said to also excerise..well duh. I've been trying.
Both hubby and and I have to go back in Janaury for a follow up. If my chorlesterol isn't better, he'll have to put me on some meds to help. I hate taking pills. My parents already take meds for their high chorlesterol. urgh.
