I started PT on my knee and elbow this week, so I did heel slides and knee lifts. I am also going to try to get in 20 minutes of walking if the dog doesn't drag me down the street.

I think I've discovered the reason why I'm getting tendon spasms...they are always tied to days I work out at the gym (not in the pool). So, I have to find another way to exercise until I can get back in the pool week after next. I'm going to get out at lunch today (in the cold! BRR) and walk for 20 minutes.

I'm working from home today to avoid the horrible traffic and crappy weather. I have to bake bread for tomorrow, and I have to make ambrosia. I'll have my work PC on in the background, but I don't think too many people will be trying to get in touch with me.

Since I can't make it to the gym today, I'm going to take a break mid-day, put on some tunes and dance!! Oh, and I'm going to use the stairs in the house to get in some cardio too.

Squats...ugh. Because I've had two knee surgeries (and need one more) I'm not allowed to squat. I can't say my heart was broken. LOL

Moving is hard work. We are cleaning out our house in Maryland because it just went on the market. Between cleaning and moving stuff, I should be 120 pounds by now. LOLOL

Today, I'm working from home, so no gym (my gym is by my work). I am running up and down the steps to take care of some housework and things, and taking a little time to play with the dog. That will have to count as my exercise for today.

Tomorrow, I'm moving stuff into our storage unit - and working on the house in MD - moving, cleaning, lifting...exhausting. I'll be back there Sunday doing the same. At least I'll be burning calories!

Oh no! I am the queez of clutz, so I can totally feel ya on the falling thing!

I am definitely going to the gym today on my lunch hour, but I can't decide if I'm going to do the elliptical or if I'm going to swim. I'm leaning towards the elliptical...but if the pool isn't crowded, I'll do some laps instead. It's easier on my arthritis.

Doing great! Nobody says you have to look good dancing as long as you are having fun! and still keeping up with your squat chqllenge--Way To Go!

So, today is a heavy-duty clean the house and get everything straight day (my grandmother isn't feeling so well so she's moving in with me and my roommate next week so I can look after her).

I put on some dance music in the living room and I'm dancing my way through the housework! Lol, it's a sight because I CAN'T DANCE!

Aww, sorry your nieces are sick! I hope they're doing much better now.

The squats, oh my... I started with 50 today, but by the end of 30 days I'm supposed to be at 280 squats a day. I don't know what I got myself in to! :)

I recently decided that I couldn't do it entirely on my own, so I joined a gym and paid a fortune for a personal trainer to help me three days a week. Best decision of my life. It was expensive, but it was a choice I absolutely had to make. The cost is far outweighed by the benefit, and offset by the fast good I'm not eating anymore, and the eating out in general I've given up (that alone probably paid for this). Today I did thirty minutes of cardio, then some weight training and I used those big huge ropes like they have on the biggest loser (that was awesome!), and then thirty more minutes of cardio (on some machine that is kinda like an eliptical, but way cooler. Great day.

Cancer may win many battles, but I will win the war.
