Thanks! The intergenerational play aspect was really cool actually. It was fun to see how my kids were on an equal platform to the young adults there and the passers-by of all ages that we pulled in to try hooping.
My wife ended up staying home, but honestly needed the time to herself. She facilitates the kids virtual school and doesn't get enough her time which I hope to remedy when I'm done with this semester. She does want to give it a whirl though and I'm going to make her a new hoop to get started with.
I have a big bruise on my hand, but otherwise feel pretty amazing today still. Optimistically hoping that we can get something going in our town!!!!

First hoop jam was so excellent that I don't really have words to express it fully. We spent three sunny amazing hours in the park hooping, drumming, laughing, sharing. I started out a little self-conscious, but that evaporated pretty quickly. It felt a little strange being the elder of the group today, but that was only an issue when I thought about it... everyone else was too busy having fun. I'm exhausted but feel that a special inner pilot light ignited today... Can't wait till next week's earth day hooping!!!!!!!!!!!
