The losing weight goal seems to be much different and more elusive than the others. Drinking water, eating fruits and veggies, exercising, sleeping, all are in my grasp. I love to exercise and am very proud of the changes I am seeing in my body. However, I think these last few pounds are a combination of poor eating habits and eating for the wrong reasons. I bought some books on healthy eating. I am going to explore this deeper.

I am in the same situation too! I was down to 117 (two away from my goal) two weeks ago and then suddenly I gave up and put on 3 pounds really quickly, I just stopped working out and ate poorly. I knew what I was doing was wrong but I did it anyway and now the scale reflects it. I think I like the struggle of the last few pounds and am afraid to start maintaining...

I did get back on track yesterday, had a good run, strength trained and ate properly...I want to keep this up and not let this become a cycle.

Smiling just makes everyones day better :)

wow, you guys seem to be talking about my life. I weigh for the first time in about 3 weeks on Friday, and I have no idea where I'm at. Its like that last stretch of the race, and I'm off in Lala land. For me, I think Ive been disillusioned a little by the lack of satisfaction Ive gotten from reaching this goal so far. I mean, Its good, but I never seem to be satisfied. If I reach this goal, Ill feel driven to reach another. It feels never ending.

I am in the same boat. I have been doing some reflecting and this is my very last Spark People goal. I am wondering if subconsciously I am keeping myself from reaching this last goal because I am afraid of what will happen after that. I am not sure. I know that Spark will help me maintain and I will get check ups. I have a much healthier lifestyle than I had before Spark. I am going to keep doing a lot of self talk and see if I, too, can figure this one out.

For the past couple of weeks or so, I've been giving into food and recently it's been showing on the scale.

Why now? I don't get it. I've done so well and I don't want to ruin it all! I love my body now and I want to keep it!!!

Ten out of ten people die, so don't take life too seriously.
