My regular time is 5:00-06:00 a.m. (leave for work at 6:30a.m.). I take public transportation to/from work and it's too unpredictable to keep a regular schedule for working out in the evenings. On weekends I aim for a 6:00 start to keep my weekend eating schedule close to the weekday schedule.

Fall seven times, get up eight.

I do my first workout about 6:30 or 7 am and my second workout I am planning on doing about 1 pm.

I am starting my workout by 9am or earlier will give me some recovery time that I should be able to add a 2.5 mile walk mid afternoon

I've carried extra lbs most of my life!
Started 9/27/13 determined to release myself from my 'FAT' cocoon ~ Restarting 7/23/15 my journey!!!!

Oddly enough, I'm finding that my workout time preference is changing a little. While I still prefer to workout later at night because it's when the rest of the house is settled down and it's me time, this last year I've found that I either have no energy that time of night, or I'm up FOREVER after a late night workout. It never affected me like that before.

I homeschool and we get our work done best in the mornings. So, my workout time is usually around 2:00 in the afternoon.

On week days I get up at 5;15 am. On weekends I get up around 6 or 7 am.

I workout before going to work as the energy level isn't there in the evening. I usually work out about 6:00 am.

Funny you should ask Laurie. I used to work out diligently within half hour of waking up. Then a winter ago when Mr. was on construction layoff, I changed my routine and now it's anywhere between 9 and 5 - depending on what else is going on that day. lol I've been (lamely) trying to get back to the a.m. workouts but haven't done so. I didn't realize our bodies perform best between 4 and 6 but I do find that I do work well in the middle of the afternoon - between 2 and 4. I know with the hot weather, I sweat more during the afternoon :D

I'm a morning person usually I'm done by 9 or 930am...occassionally will get a evening workout in but not every day

During the school year I normally work out around 11 or noon and sometimes sneak in a second at night, but this summer I've been exercising in the morning or early evening, depending on my work schedule. I don't like this way as much, but I'm making myself do it -- just a few more weeks!

I workout in the morning before it gets too hot (I live in AZ) and if I do not get it done other things get in the way! I usually exercise right after taking my youngest to school at 6:30. No kids and no distractions in the house...just me and the two dogs!

morning on most days. If I dont have time to do both workouts (on the days where I have 2 workouts on my schedule) then I do one int he am and one at night.

I workout in the morning when I have the most energy. If I waited until 4:00 to 6:00, I would find every excuse in the book not to workout and I wouldn't have the energy to do it either.

Reading one of my favorite mags before hitting hay last night, I found a short article about how our bodies perform best during a workout in the afternoon between the hours of 4 and 6 because performance is linked to body temp and that's when it peaks. I actually really love working out at that time of day. I think its more because I can get supper in the oven and then claim that as "my time", but being efficient is a plus! When is your favorite time to workout?
