Tomorrow I will finish up week 3 of Les Mills combat! I love it so far. I'm just doing the base pack of it and then I will maybe purchase the extra dvds after i finish this round but we will see. I think that I have officially tried all of the workouts that come in the base pack. Love that there are 2 combat 60s and 2 combat 30s. The live versions are very fun and I seem to push harder when doing those but i like the regular combat 60 and 30 just fine as well. The HIIT workouts definitely give me room for improvement. The Power HIIT is my favorite of the 2 HIIT workouts.

One thing that i do think the base pack is missing is a stretch/yoga dvd . I've been adding in the Les Mills pump Flow workout on one of my rest days. That will be another good reason besides as a reward for me to get the upgrade.

I went to the Y this morning and did 30 mins. on the elliptical, 30 mins on a bike, then later in the day I did my P90X Legs and Back workout. I am tired tonight. Partly because I didn't sleep well last night after my 5 year old was in bed with us from 2 until 4 a.m. He had a nightmare. Looking forward to a good night's sleep (hopefully).

Good morning!!

Today is our 2nd snow day. I kinda knew we were going to have it. We got a lot of ice yesterday and they don't clean off the country roads. Now we have to make these 2 days up after Memorial day when the kitchen is soooooo hot!!! Oh well. Life goes on!!

Did 20 minutes turbo jam abs and 20 mintues turbo jam cardio

Good morning!!

I'm off today but dh has to work. I slept today til 9:00am!!!! I have not slept in that late in a long time!!! As you know if my hubby is home and up early he thinks everyone should be. I feel amazing!!! emoticon

Nothing much going on today, work out, go grocery shopping and do some housework.

I have 1 disc of Turbo Jam with 5 workouts on it, I have the whole Turbo Fire program (I'm doing this one now) and I have a 20 minute Insanity dvd that I have not tried yet. I do love the turbo fire and turbo jam!!!

I started Body Beast today! It's, mmmm, BIG. :-) Everything about it - trainer, backgrounders, weights. Big muscles, big gains, big aspirations. And probably big DOMS by Monday! LOL

Anxiously awaiting my new ZUMBA DVDs which should be here by the end of the week. I was going to try the Prep Schedule for TF again but I want to give something different a try. I've gotten way out of shape & have actually gained about 20 pounds of what I lost back. Every time I'd think about TF I'd get stressed out cuz it's SO hard. I'm hoping the excitement over my ZUMBA set will help me be motivated to get back at it more consistently. emoticon

Good job, Shannon! Don't fret about where you were, just pick up from where you are.

The 1/2 marathon I got talked into is in October, in Des Moines. But I found one in Waterloo in September that I might try for. If nothing else, it would be a good test run for me. And I sent my registration in yesterday for a 5K on July 16th.

Trying to get back at it again with TurboFire/Prep Schedule. When I completed the Prep before, I was in MUCH better shape. I can't believe how out of shape I've allowed myself to become. Fire 30 was tough even though I followed the low-impact modifier, Alie, during the Fire Drills. That's OK, I guess. Just one more guage that will show my progress when I've improved.

Yay me! Yay me! Yay me! I believe I will be receiving emails from SP again! I found a place where I can manage my email and it said there, in big red print, that my emails from SP had been canceled because my provider said I didn't have a valid email address. REALLY??? That same provider is the one that GAVE me that email address over 10 years ago!

Never-the-less, I think I'm back to knowing what's going on around here!

Good job, LYANCEY! Yes, 55 is a little long, but it's tied for my favorite with 60 - which is what I did today. Class 60 has a TON of leg work in it and so I almost didn't do it today as I'm still babying my legs after the 7 mile jog yesterday. But it's so fun!

Yesterday was a crazy day, so I didn't get my to work out until 8:30 last night. I pushed play for Fire 55 EZ, it was my first time so I did the "new to class" option. It took over an hour, but I burned almost 730 calories and I've never enjoyed a workout like I did that one! It was great!!! Looking forward to doing it again, but it is pretty long... Tonight I've got Fire 30 and Stretch 10, probably going to be another late workout.

I'd like to join in, if that's okay. I'm a devoted follower of BB programs, I've done quite a few of them over the past 5 years. I just recently finished ChaLEAN Extreme and am now starting on TurboFIRE. I got great results from CLX and am looking forward to seeing what FIRE can do for me. Anyone else doing that right now?

Well got measured today , and i was happy, a total of 5 inches loss in 30 days. very happy!
and i have lost 4.5 lbs.Turbo jam is working yeah!, doing sparkpeople too

Yeah, Shannon, it was quite a week. It kinda felt like a Monday on Wednesday... all of the week's to-do list left!

Got my Turbo Fire in today. I did Class 60 for the first time. It was good! It was really intense, but really good. I'll do that again in a day or so.

Ahhhh, I got a workout today! Yeah me! I did P90X Plyo with my 15 year old daughter. We've had such a week that it was hard to get any workouts in. In the last 7 days we've had 3 funerals, 1 wedding, and, of course, Mother's Day. It's been nuts. So today's workout was much needed and much enjoyed!

It's supposed to start storming tonight and continue for a while (basically rain until Monday). Yuk.

Did BBL Cardio Axe & Bum Bum Thursday & was pleased to see that I burned more calories than I did Tuesday. Plus my balance was better too!

Good Job Laurie! I love playing trivia games....and watching Cash Cab, Jeopardy, and Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader. Playing bar trivia was definitely part of my down fall and a significant part of why I gained all of my weight. Not sure if you've ever seen it, but bars offer NTN or Buzztime Trivia. And unfortunately I started playing with a team and spent several afternoons/evenings playing trivia, drinking beer, and eating junk. So I limit my time in bars and trivia nights are now a reward. But I still like playing and am jealous of your trivia time. :)

Jumped on the elliptical tonight (it's been a while since I've hit that machine) while watching Lord of the Rings. Then we had a game night with the Lord of the Rings dvd Trivia Pursuit. So fun! I didn't win - but I was happy to get a few wedgies! ;-)

Well, definitely let me know what you think of it. I find that each workout has it's own focus. CP2 really seems to work the core/obliques more than some of the other ones. PKJ seemed to really do the legs in. And so on. Each has it's own ..... personality!

I haven't tried that one yet. I'm still trying to get coordinated enough to do Cardio Party 2 without stumbling. LOL. But I'm sure that within the next week or so I'll try CP3. I'll let you know how it goes.

Right now my favorites are TJ Fatblaster and TJ Booty Sculpt and Abs. Loving both of those workouts.
