My knees were aching until I pulled up your link to find, "Only 10.1 kilometres long, Zoncolan gains 1203 metres for an average grade of 11.9% with the steepest pitches going straight up at over 20%" - the map says a max of 22%. Yup, THAT'S steep! I've got a four mile stretch in my area with an average 12% grade, but no 22% zone - brutal! I run a standard double ring with a 12-27 on back and still can't ride my local climb without weaving the parts that are above 13%. I'd want a triple for sure doing a 22% grade unless it was less than a 100m stretch with some relief! Alas, I'm not anywhere close to the pro-league either. :-) Thanks for the post! :-)

Wow, that is just insane. It makes my legs hurt just looking at the map. I don't know why I didn't think to check this earlier, but does anyone know if they are doing any coverage on Versus network(formerly OLN)?
