We went up to Chicago for "Bike the Drive." The city shuts down Lake Shore Drive for a ride. It was tons of fun! It's a great event; if you have the chance to go, I would reccomend it. Rained the first half hour or so. We couldn't even see the skyline at the start, but then it cleared up into a beautiful day. We all ended up with (minor) sun burns. emoticon

OUCH Tony!

BBQ and bike riding for me. I took off Friday and took the G'Baby for a ride in my new baby trailer. Gym workout Saturday morning. BBQ on Saturday. Monday DH and I rode a century.

Do not look where you fell, but where you slipped.

Just finished a 60 miler (road bike). Used a Fizik Arione for the first time because I broke my other saddle and did not have time to replace it. I knew it was too narrow for my sit bones but I tried it anyway. Anyone ever ridden on a 2x4 for 60 miles? emoticon
It still was a great ride though.

Variety of workouts, including cycling, walking, jogging, Curves, and swimming. And mostly lounging by the pool. getting my Vitamin D! I love having a "health" reason to float on a raft with a book...

F8TH637, I get ovarian cysts, too. Very scary the first time, but after I was diagnosed the first time, I could tell when I was getting one. Now, I can track them, and it is much better for my sanity!

It's Monday morning and it's beautiful outside! I'm going for a ride. MrRyde, I'll be the guy with a smile on face at Beattie Park this morning. I think I'm going to try 3 laps today before the dog walkers show up.

I had wanted to ride today but instead spent my day at the ER trying to figure out why I've been having sharp abdominal pain the past 3 days. Ovarian cysts, it turns out. Going to visit my LBS and pick up a new tube for the mountain bike since my husband blew it during our attempt to ride on Friday evening. After that I intend to ride and then hit the pool for a good wash down. I feel that Monday will be a day of eating and lounging, however.

We had our long weekend last weekend but I'm doing more yardwork (new yard) today and a metric century ride tomorrow. Thank goodness too because I got zero km in this week.

It's never too late to be who you might have been.

Hope everybody has a great weekend. Unfortunately, I'll be at work Saturday and Sunday. It's the downside of working in a 24/7 type of job. Hopefully I'm planning on riding in on Sunday. I will also be off on Monday, so if it doesn't rain I'm planning a morning ride with a friend. In the afternoon we'll be having a family cookout, so it should be a great day!
