Thanks Brenda, I've got the same guy for my initial friend. I will see what can be done to allow calories burned to accept five digits. If not I can just cancel out as you suggested.
I can still make it work for me. Although my calories burned hasn't changed since joining. I have become keenly aware of my mistakes with calorie intake. I'm still very excited.
i guess your just going to need to ride less. kidding!
i include my supplements, but i haven't gotten to 9999 to have that same problem. it sounds like a question that could go to the leaders. you should have an icon of one in your friends, when you sign up you automatacally get a friend (who knew it would be that easy!). mine is a guy in a hat. he may be able to get that fixed in the programming.
i am going to guess that the problem of going over 9999 hasn't happend that often or it would be fixed already.
it would be nice to track on this site for accuracy, but i suppose you could just cancel the calories in by the calories out, unless they are able to adjust the site.
to me i would like to track accurately to see what other effects long rides, what you supplements you use have on your wt., body fat percentage ect...
Thanks KJEANNE, In most cases it will work out. But somethings wrong with the way I'm looking at this. Here's the scenario; You can only put in 9999 calories per week in the fitness section. On a 100 mile bike ride that takes seven hours you will consume 1250 calories in supplements. Depending on your weight you will burn approximately 6500 calories. You've netted 5250. You're only alloted 2000 for the entire day. This will place you in a serious calorie deficit. Since the calories were consumed to complete a workout, shouldn't it just cancel out?
Am I thinking too much?
In the Fitness section, you can set how many calories you’ll use each week during exercise. My goal is 1200 calories during exercise each week. That total is factored into the total calories I consume each day, increasing the total for each day by 171 (171 x7 =1200).
Do not look where you fell, but where you slipped.
Someone please tell me how this works. Using my calories burned weekly, my caloric intake is set at 2270 to 2620. When I'm training, any rides over two hours means I need to consume 250 calories per hour
(gels, energy bars, endurance drinks etc;)
Since most of my rides during the week are 2 hours long, I will just be able to get by. But the weekend and maybe one ride during the week will call for calories. This will add approximately 1250 caloties per week to my total. Should I factor these suplements in my total? If so I wwould be missing a meal just to train and I know that's not right.........................is it?
