I'm good to the 105-110°F range. As long as I'm moving, I don't feel how hot it is. This is a really dry climate (the humidity yesterday was around 20%), so sweating actually cools me down. And I know the location of every functioning water fountain and friendly convenience store clerk along my routes.

My backside got sprayed by an irrigation sprinkler yesterday, and I was surprised by how cooling it was. I frequently douse my cotton cycling cap; clearly I need to start spraying water on the backs of my legs, too.

I'm new to the group and very new to cycling - I just got my bike and haven't been out much on it yet. I think I'll set myself a conservative target of 60 miles for July. Must get working!

Shoulda factored in the amount of time I spend sitting on my butt watching the Tour de France before I said I'd do 200 miles in July. On the plus side, I did a long ride home in 100°F heat last night.

New to this forum and SP in general, so not real sure how this challenge works? My goal for the entire year is 2000 miles (ran, swam, hiked or biked, walking doesn't count). Most of it is biking.

For July I'll set a cycling goal of 300 miles.

Hello, thought I would jump in the July ride challenge
Only 8 miles yesterday and 8 miles today, usually ride in the early morning hours from 10 -12 miles but things this week have been very busy even early mornings......

UGH! Cycling in July...in Utah...in 90-plus degree heat.

Okay. I'll bite. Again. I don't know why, because I'm the WORST at tracking and logging, but I'll give it a shot.

My goal this month will be a measly 100 miles. I'm riding in a fun 25-mile "moonlight ride" in July, so I have to get some miles in anyway.
