Another quick fix is to put reflective tape at regular intervals around the rim, making sure to avoid the braking area. A number of us in our bike club use this approach.

Fiks definitely score on high on the impressive scale though! :-)

I have Fiks:Reflective on 2 of my bikes that I ride at night to improve side visibility. They make some good stuff, check them out if you ride at night and are looking for some options to improve your side visibility. Night riding is a pleasure, no lie.
